~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
We have been looking all day for my daughter. I keep imagining the worst, what if she's died? I held up my hand signaling them to stop, I peek around the corner. I quickly yanked my head back, we can't go this way.
"We have to find a better way." I took another peek, walkers were all over the streets.
"I have found an ally just a couple ways back," Vic asked.
I nodded, we took off the way we came. I check behind us, making certain we weren't being chased. There were a couple walkers, but I wasn't about to waste my bullet on them.
A crack of thunder rang through the sky, I looked over at Vic.
"Don't give up unless it gets worse." By worse, I mean lightning, or possibly a tornado. I wasn't about to give up looking for my daughter, because of a little bit of rain.
"Keep moving." I did a quick check making sure everyone was with us.
"Watch your backs, don't get lost." We continued the hunt for my daughter and Kyle's sister.
~~~~~~~~Johnnie's~~~~~~~~~
I wasn't about to have a little bit of rain, get in my way of finding Kyle. I'll continue searching to the point where things get worse, once he gets worse than I'll go in. I wanted to find Kyle, I wasn't going to leave him out here like this.
"Johnnie, we need to look for shelter." It was starting to pour down rain.
"No! We have to find him."
"Johnnie, it's not safe, it's pouring down rain. You can hardly see."
"I-I don't care. We got to find him."
"Johnnie." I looked over to Madison.
"I want to see him too, but it's not safe to be out here. We can hardly see."
"Please, we can't leave him." I moved my finger through my hair.
"Please, I-I can't lose him." I cried. She looked at me.
"I care for my brother as much as you do, I'm sure he feels the same. He's probably taking shelter right now." I nodded.
"Come one we h-" a shriek rang through the distance. I looked at Madison, taking off in that direction.
"Johnnie wait." I didn't stop, I keep running kill anything that got in my way.
~~~~~~~~~Kyle's~~~~~~~~~~
"What now?" I shouted.
"Keep fighting." I heard a scream.
I looked over to see one taking a bit out of, well don't know who.
I shot the Walker sending him to the ground. Kellin looked over and his face drops
"Gabe?" Blood was streaming from his neck.
He looked down, he held the gun out. I shot the Walker coming behind him.
I grabbed the gun, handing it to Kellin. Gabe nodded, why was he, nodding?
"You sure?" I looked in between them. Gabe nodded, Kellin raised his weapon.
"I'm so sorry this happened to you." He pulled the trigger, tears flowing from his eyes.
I looked down at the lifeless body of Gabe. I was pulled by my through when I was grabbed. I screamed and struggled against the Walker.
I brought my gun up, placing it underneath its chin, pulling the trigger.
"We outnumber!" I yelled.
Gunshots rang through the air. I ducked down covering my head, bodies of dead walkers falling on top of me.
"Is everyone okay?" I started pushing dead bodies off of me.
"Can someone help me up." I kept pushing dead bodies off of me. I felt a hand grab my arm, pulling me up.
"Thanks." I wipe myself off.
"That's so gross." I had Walker blood on me, it was starting to wash off because of the rain.
I looked over to see a few guys.
"Thanks for helping us."
"You're welcome." I looked up, that voice sounds familiar.
"J-Johnnie?" I slowly walked forward, he looked at me.
"K-Kyle." He raced toward me, pulling me into a hug.
I wrapped my arms around his waist, pulling him closer. He tore back, we stood there looking into each other eyes.
He leans forward, I closed the gap. We pulled back, someone clears their throat.
"Sorry to interrupt, but we need to look for shelter. Those guns shoots are going to bring more this way."
"Where's Madison and the others?"
"They're in the shelter, Come on." We followed in behind Bryan.
I looked behind us, a couple Walker was behind us.
"In here!" We went in, I grabbed the door, shutting it when everyone was in.
"Kyle!!" I turned, Madison jumped into my arms. I wrapped my arms around her waist.
"I-I miss you."
"I miss you too." I placed her on the floor.
"Where's Copeland?"
"Alex! Bring Copeland out." Alex slowly walked out from behind the corner.
"Copeland!" She looked over, tears started falling.
"Daddy!" She yelled running up to Kellin.
"I promise I'll never let you." The sat there crying in each other's arms.
I looked over at Madison, tears slipping from my eyes.
"Thank you." Kellin looked up at us.
"Thank you." He repeated over and over. Copeland looked up at us, she ran over to me hugging me.
I wrapped my arms around her, she cried.
"Thank you." She whispered.
