Day 1 Johnnies

Previously on This is the end: Kyle and Madison meet a group. Kyle gets knock to the ground by a walker.

We all were laughing, and joking around.

"Help!!!" The guys and I all looked at each other.

"Kyle!" My eyes widen, I took off in the direction of the scream.

Madison and I got to the scene

"Go back to the group, I got this." She just stood there, the Walker was hovering over Kyle. Kyle was holding the Walker back, but you could tell he was growing tired.

I ran over pulling the Walker off of him, he took hold of my arm, which the knife was in. I wasn't about to shoot a walker, that would cause more to come this direction.

"Kyle." I dropped the knife, he raced over to pick it up and stabbing it in the head.

I tore out of his grip as he falls to the ground.

"Are you okay?" I asked Kyle, I looked him up and down making sure he wasn't bitten.

"Y-yes, but shaken up. T-thanks for the help."

"You're welcome, ️also thanks."

"I'm glad you both are okay." Madison runs up and pulled us both into a hug. I wrapped my arms around them both, Kyle looks over at me. I smiled weakly, which he gave back.

"Let's get back to camp." Madison and I help Kyle back.

"Is everything okay?" Bryan asked, racing over to us.

"Was he bitten?" Alex asked she was always a curious girl. I'm surprised she is alive.

"Everything okay, and no he hasn't bitten." We sat down, Kyle sits down beside me.

"Who keeping the first watch?" Jeydon asked I wasn't going to be able to sleep tonight.

"I'll do it."

"Are you sure?" I nodded, they all went to their tents.

"Kyle, you and Madison can have my tent tonight."

"Thanks," Madison said. Kyle didn't move, he just sits there and stares into the flames.

"Are you okay?" He shrugged his shoulder.

"You can tell me."

"I lost everything, my dad, my mom."

"What happened to your mom?"

"She was killed, she was the Walker, Bryan shot, her blood was all over me." I could tell he was taking back his tears.

"I'm sorry." I pulled him into a hug, he lay his head on my shoulder.

"I miss her." He whispered and I wipe the tears that have fallen from his face. He's showing no emotion.

"What exactly happened."

"She was bit, we thought everything was going to be okay. She wanted me to shoot her, but I couldn't get myself to do it. She turned and was about to bite me, that's when Bryan came in. He shot her, sending her to the ground." He was still showing no emotion.

"It should of be me." He whispered, instantly he was showing emotion, but not the type I was expecting.

"Don't say that." He looked at me

"I-I can't protect Madison, mom was the only one that could. She is gone, and I can't do this one my own."

"You're not alone, you got me."

He looked at me all confused.

"You don't know me."

"We all in his together now, I would like to get to know you." He nodded.

"You are simply going to leave me like everyone else." He mumbled.

"I will never leave you." He smiled weakly. This is just the beginning of the end.
