Unexpected

Chapter 16

It's been a month since we all got here in Otogakure. And this one month was really hectic for me and the rest as we spent this time to straighten various loose ends.

I have made plans to travel to different villages and clan compounds to gain allies. Neji has taken on the duty of re-structuring of anbu forces saying that they need a lot of training while Shikamaru was stuck with me to gain intel on various clans and villages trying to parse out which one of them are likely to enter the alliance with us taking in the reputation of the village and Orochimaru. Hinata has taken over the academy with the vengeance of completely  overturning most of the policies while creating new ones, a complete overhaul. As for Daisuke, well he is still trying to adjust in the new place and has made my office his new playroom saying that he doesn't want to stay alone.

Orochimaru and Kabuto has been helping all four of us  in any way possible especially me and Shikamaru with how run the village efficiently and with all sorts of intel on other villages. It wasn't an exaggeration when they said that the snake sannin was a treasure trove of information.

Gin, Neji's summon came back after delivering our letter to the hokage successful and telling Sai to wait for a while before coming to Otogakure. He also told us that when he went there they were all present in the council room screaming at the elders. Hearing that I laughed along with everyone and Shikamaru said that he was waiting to see some fireworks from Konoha's direction. Then I asked him why he came so late and he said that i was there to make sure that i wasn't followed and Hokage gave me a letter for us all and left giving us the letter.

Hello you four,

I hope you are in good health. We received you letter and hope you are safe. After we read Shikamaru's letter everyone called for elder's blood. Danzo has been dealt with and is being interrogated by Shiro-san along with the elders and I can say for sure that he is taking great pleasure in the interrogation especially whe he found what he had done to Shikamaru.

Sakura, I don't know where you all are but i do hope that you are happy and safe and in good health. I just wanted to say that I am so sorry that I wasn't able to protect you and Daisuke. I know you will say it isn't my fault for what happened but it is. I should have been more careful. Sakura, Kakashi has been feeling very bad since you left he is angry that he wasn't there for you when you needed someone to be there for you and Daisuke after Sasuke left. He just wanted you to know that he is really sorry and that he didn't meant to abandon you. please forgive him.

Orochimaru was looking at me with the hope if Tsunade had mentioned her to which i just shook my head in no and he left out a shaky breath.

"Don't worry Orochimaru, she will come around eventually" I said.

"That's what I am afraid of" he said while sighing to which I gave him a look that said 'are you alright' "I feel that she will take her frustrations out on me with her fists" he explained, cringing at the thought.

And we all laughed at him while Daisuke was giving us a look that said we all have gone crazy.
