Unexpected

Chapter 4

Sakura's POV.
After hearing that what he did was not on his own accord but because of the pressuring that was done by Danzo and the elders and say I was shocked would be an understatement.
"Then why did you do it if they were pressuring you. You could have gone to the Hokage and tell  him about everything they were doing to you" she asked looking at him suspiciously and observed him.
He just became nervous and started rubbing his hand on his another arm while he not saying anything. This made me suspicious so I asked him "are you hurt".
"N-no" he said.
I narrowed my eyes and went to him and while taking his hand away from the spot I said "let me see".
And what I saw was enough for me to widen my eyes and he took my hands away from his arm defensively.
"She is your soulmate" I questioned him.
"Yeah, Tsunade is my soulmate not like it matters anyways" he said.
"What are you saying of course it matters she is your soulmate afterall" I said.
"Oh yeah, my mind sharing who your soulmate is with us" he asked.
"Oh don't even get me started on that you snake. After all it was your doing that made me so worried about him" I said.
"what do you mean" he said.
"I mean what you are thinking" I said while looking at him to which his eyes widened.
"You mean" he said.
"Yes, Sasuke Uchiha is my soulmate" I replied.
"Do you know what I have been through without him in these past 3 years" I said yet again.
"I am so sorry" he said looking down in shame.
"But I was asked to do it so that I can keep Sasuke safe and away from Danzo and elders" he said making me shock.
"Who asked you to do it" I asked.
He looked at me thoughtfully before responding "it was Itachi Uchiha who asked me to do it to keep Sasuke safe" he said.
"But why would he do that he hates Sasuke" I asked.
"No, it is not the truth despite what you know about him but the truth is that he loves Sasuke very much to the point he sacrificed himself for him" he said making me confuse.
"The Uchiha massacre isn't what it seems to be the truth is something else to that you will find the details in third hokage's personal vault" he said.
"And to why I did not tell everything to the hokage was because Danzo and the village elders threatened me that they will kill my soulmate if I tell everyone but after getting discovered and Tsunade thinking of me as a traitor I told everything to sensei so that he could keep Tsunade safe and the thing that I was against third hokage is not true infact I was secretly working with sensei to put a stop on Danzo and the elders" he said.
"The attack on village during the chunnin exams was also sender's idea to get Danzo but sensei came between because he was suffering from a disease and he wanted to die protecting the village and not from the disease so that the news of his death could bring Tsunade back in the village and that what happened" he said yet again.
"But why did not the third hokage stopped Danzo from his evil deeds or just killed him" I asked.
"He tried to stop Danzo but Danzo would always get everything done in secret from his very skilled ANBU" he said.
I looked at him and said "just like Sai".
"Yes just like him. They are basically known as the ROOT. He have them to do all his dirty works" he said.
"But where does he gets those shinobi from to make them ROOT ANBU" I asked.
"They are trained since they are children" he said.
"Children are there any people that are this cruel to do something like this to their own children" I asked getting angry just at the thought of children being trained as a killing machine.
"Have you never heard of children going missing from different orphanages and clans from all around the world Sakura-san" he asked.
To this my eyes widened alarmingly and asked "why didn't hokage do anything about it".
"When sensei found out about it he ordered Danzo to disband Root but instead of disbanding it Danzo just started doing it in more secrecy. He even tried to kill sensei because he wanted to be the hokage instead" he said.
"Let me guess you are telling me all this because you want me to warn the Hokage about it don't you" I asked.
"If you could without alarming Danzo and the elders then yes please do warn her about it" he said.
"Alright I will do so...now tell me all the things you know about Danzo and the elders and I want you to distribute uniforms in vine colour to every shinobi and kunoichi before I come back in 1 week" I said.
"Consider it done Otokage-sama" he said while smiling.
"Oh shut up" i said while rolling my eyes.
