Chapter 10

Sakura's POV.
Next day in the morning Sakura was the one guarding when everyone else woke up starting with Neji followed by Hinata and then Shikamaru while Daisuke was still asleep.
"Morning" said Hinata while Neji just nodded and Shikamaru yawned.
"Morning guys" I said.
"Neji, Shikamaru you guys go on ahead and wash up while i wake Daisuke up and then Hinata and I will take Daisuke with us to wash up" I said.
They nodded and left for the waterfall nearby that we found while looking for cave last night.
After the guys left I said "I'll go and wake up Daisuke"  then I stood up and went towards Daisuke.
"Baby wake up it's morning already" I said.
He stirred in his sleep and hugged me while hiding his face in my stomach and said "5 mowe minutes mommy".
I smiled while stroking his hair and laid down next to him saying "ok".
As I laid there I don't even know when I fell asleep. I woke up to something wetting my cheeks.
I opened my eyes and saw Daisuke already awake and kissing my cheeks to wake me up while Hinata looking at us smiling and Neji and Shikamaru smirking behind her.
"Wakey wakey mommy it's mowning alweady" said Daisuke.
I sat up while yawning and rubbing my eyes.
"Good mowning mommy" said Daisuke.
"Morning baby" I said.
"Sakura let's go and wash up" said Hinata.
I nodded while standing up. I took my bag as Hinata did the same as she took her bag. Then I took Daisuke's hand and we left for the waterfall.
After reaching there I said "Hinata you wash up first while I  wash Daisuke then I will wash up as well".
She nodded and went a little away from us to wash up as I took a scroll from my bag and opened it to get Daisuke's clothes. Then I got another scroll to get soap, shampoo, conditioner, mine and his toothbrushes and a paste. I cleared the toothbrushes applied paste on them and gave Daisuke his brush while I brushed my teeth.
After that I took off Daisuke's clothes that he was wearning and put them aside. I took him near the waterfall and applied shampoo on his hair and scrubbed soap on his body. After that i washed him with water.
After Daisuke was all clean I picked him up while wrapping towel around him and took him to the ground. I dried his body and hair and helped him wear his clothes. After he was ready k combed his hair applied moisturiser on his face, arms, and legs.
"Hinata are you done" I asked after I was done with Daisuke.
"Yeah, just wearing my clothes" she said.
"Mommy hungwee" said Daisuke while his stomach growled.
I laughed while bringing another scroll from my bag and opened it giving Daisuke some riceballs to eat.
He took them from my hand and started nibbling them. At that moment Hinata came back all dressed up.
"Alright Sakura you go and wash up while I look after Daisuke-chan" said Hinata.
"Alright, thanks Hinata and xan you do me a favour please seal Daisuke's clothes and stuff in the scroll" I said handing her the scroll she took it from my hand while nodding and then I left while taking my bag with me to where Hinata came from.
After 30 minutes I came back all cleaned up and saw Daisuke and Hinata laughing. I stopped and smile at them.
"Alright let's go I am done" I said while packing the two scrolls in my bag.
They nodded and I took Daisuke's hand as we left towards the cave.
When we reached their we saw Neji and Shikamaru talking or more like arguing. We went towards them and they stopped as they noticed us.
"What happened what did you guys stopped talking" I asked getting suspicious.
"Oh it's nothing Sakura we were just discussing about what to do next after we reach there" said Neji.
"Are you sure" I asked narrowing my eyes.
"Of course we are you troublesome women" said Shikamaru.
I was still suspicious but I let it slide for now and said "if you say so anyways let's eat".
After that I sat down and took the scroll in which I stored the food and opened it. After I opened it Daisuke stood up and walked to me I looked at him figuring about what he wanted to do. He then came infront of me and sat in my lap while looking at something infront. I looked at where he was looking and saw that he was looking at chocolate infront.
I giggled at this and asked him "do you want it dai-chan".
He looked at me and nodded his head in yes.
I took the chocolate opened it and gave it to him. He nibbled at his chocolate dirtying his face while I smiled at him.
"Hey Daisuke give me that Shika and I wanna have a taste as well" said Neji teasing Daisuke.
"Right, give that to us as well Daisuke don't be mean" said Shikamaru.
After hearing that two men in the group wanted his chocolate he hid the chocolate on the other side and looked up while glaring at them with his mouth full and face dirty.
Neji fake shivers and said "how mean Daisuke we just asked you to give it to us for tasting but you just won't give us any".
"Yeah, I guess that means that Daisuke is a bad boy" said Shika.
"I am not" said Daisuke.
"Yes you are" said Neji.
"Am not, mommy am not a bad boy wight" Daisuke asked me.
I was about to answer when Neji said "what can she say we can clearly see she is so disappointed in you right Shika"
"Yeah" said Shika while they both were smirking.
"She's not wight mommy" Daisuke asked me on the verge of tears while looking at me.
"Alright that's enough you two" I said to them as they both were smirking.
I looked at Daisuke and said "no baby I am not they were just teasing you ok so don't cry please it hurts mommy to see you crying".
I wiped his tearful eyes and asked "do you wanna eat the chocolate".
He shook his head as no so I took the chocolate from his hands and give it to Hinata while she handed me a wet towel. I took the towel from her hands and cleaned Daisuke's face. After his face was all cleaned he hugged me and his face in the crook of my neck.
After 2 hours Daisuke was playing with his toys that I gave him from the scroll while we adults were sitting around talking.
"Hey Sak how much do you wanna bet the shit storm that is going in Konoha" asked Shika.
"No thanks, I don't wanna lose all my money as you have a very annoying habit of winning bets" I said.
He just smirked at me.
"Anyways you guys tell me how did you know about me leaving with Kabuto" I asked no one in particular.
"I told you I saw you leaving with him" said Shikamaru.
"Then why didn't you stopped me" I asked narrowing my eyes obviously getting suspicious.
"Now tell me what are you guys hiding from me" I asked again.
Shika sighed before speaking and said "I was approached by Danzo and other two elders they wanted to know where you went as I was the last one that was seen with you however I didn't tell him anything as I didn't knew either so they started torturing me".
"Whag did they do" I said obviously angry.
"Let's leave it over here Sakura" said Shikamaru after a while of silence.
I stood up and walked to him grabbed his collar as I was about to say something I saw some injuries on his chest that didn't looked too old and would definitely leave marks of it. This thing had me widen my eyes in horror.
"What the hell is this how did this happen" I asked.
"When I didn't told Danzo and elders about your where you went they started torturing me for information they would first peel a strip of my skin then heal it and then again peel it. After a whole day when they were sure that I didn't know anything they let me go" said Shikamaru.
I looked down the ground in shame as I was the reason Shikamaru went through all this. I wasn't able to protect my friend.
Shikamaru saw the guilt on my face and said "now don't you dare blame yourself for this it isn't your fault".
"B-but..." I started but was cut of by Shikamaru.
"No Sakura please don't blame yourself for this infact it is thanks to you that we got this chance to prove ourselves. Prove that we can also live without our clan's support and also it gave us the opportunity to live our lives the way we want".
I nodded my head and turned to Hinata while saying "Hinata I want you to write a letter to Tsunads stating that we are fine and not to worry about us. Tell her not to send any ninja after us also make sure to mention that we will go back there one day but not so soon. And Shikamaru I want you go write a detailed plan on handling the elders and Danzo and you better mention the part where you where detained, and details about how you were tortured or I will go to Konoha to deal with Danzo myself" I said to which they nodded their heads and started writing the letter.
