Unexpected

Chapter 5

Sakura's POV.
After talking to Orochimaru I left  Otogakure to come back to Konoha before my 'vacation' caught anyone's attention.
After entering through the gates of Konoha I started walking towards my home while smiling happily that didn't go unnoticed by the people on the road.
I entered my home and take a look around. I went in my room and started packing all the stuff like clothes, picture frames, albums, books, medical kits and medicines along with all the necessary items and packed them in boxes before I could seal them in a scroll.
When I was packing the last box i heard a knock at my door.
'Hm, who could it be since last 3 years no one visited me except for my few friends' I thought and went to open the door and saw Shikamaru, Neji and Hinata who was carrying a dark haired child who was fast a sleep. To be more precise Hinata was carrying my child in her arms who was fast asleep right now. I took my son from Hinata from which he started waking up however u lulled him back to sleep while letting few friends that I was left with inside. After my son Daisuke was asleep I took him to the room and put him on the bed while covering him with a blanket and put pillows around him so he doesn't roll off and fell from the bed. I kissed his forehead and walked outside to my friends.
"What are you guys doing here at this hour" I asked.
"We came here to see if you are alright" said Hinata.
"Considering the fact that you left with Kabuto for 2 days" said Shikamaru.
My eyes widened at what Shikamaru said and asked "how did you know".
"We saw you walking out of the village with him" said Neji.
I looked at them for awhile and then sighed.
"Yes I left with Kabuto because Orochimaru wanted to meet me" I said.
"What did that snake wanted from you" sid Hinata while slightly raising her voice.
"Calm down Hinata" I said.
She calmed down and I sighed. I told them everything that I had found out from Orochimaru.
"WHAT" yelled all of them.
I told them to stop yelling so as to not wake Daisuke up.
"Sorry, it's just that....it is hard not think of Orochimaru as a traitorous snake immediately" said Hinata.
"And when he said to look in to decade old reports about Uchiha massacre that are kept in third hokage's personal vault it just means nothing good is going to come out of it" said Neji.
As everyone else just nodded their heads as yes.
"So what's the plan" asked Shikamaru after a few minutes of silence.
"I am going to leave Konoha with Daisuke and take the mantle of Otogake next week" I said.
"Are you sure about this Sakura because after leaving from here you will be branded as a rouge" said Neji.
"I am sure about it I don't even need to consider about what I have been through or am going through because just the fact that my son is not safe here in this village as he is one of the last Uchiha and too young at that and the shit that has been going around about Danzo kidnapping children from different clans and orphanages and train them as a killing machine is enough for me to leave this village and go to Otogakure where my son and I will be able to start a new life without him getting mocked by losers who don't even know what's better in life" I said.
"We have to leave a letter for our families atleast so that they would know that we are alright" said Hinata.
"Woah woah woah hang on a minute what do you mean by we" I asked.
"Duh you did not thought that we will let you leave here with Daisuke alone right because we are coming with you" said Hinata.
"Are-are you guys sure about this because even I am leaving I would do everything in my power to protect this village because this is my home I was born, raised, found my soulmate, loved, gave birth, made friends and was taught here. And even while doing everything in my power for this village I might not always be able to protect it" i said.
"And that is what we are here for we will still do our best to protect this village for our families that reside in this village" said Neji.
"B-but..." I tried saying but was cut off.
"Don't try to talk us out of it because we won't as my soulmate doesn't reside here I have checked and I never wanted to be the clan head anyways...to be honest my mom is expecting another child they didn't revealed it to anyone but she have had ot checked and it is a boy so there will be another option for clan head's position that would prove even more worthy than me so I am in" said Shikamaru.
"Honestly no one cares for a Hyuga from branch family and an ex-heiress other than giving her a curse mark of caged bird and for my soulmate Tenten then I will come back for her after I have proved myself worth of being with her so I am in as well" said Neji.
"And for me Naruto-kun isn't even here and even he was here he would never look at me as a woman or a soulmate. And I would never be important to him as he has set his mind on bringing Sasuke-San back and become hokage so I am in as well" said Hinata.
I looked at them for a while and sighed and said while smiling "well looks like it is my responsibility now to welcome you three in Otogakure ranks".
"Now go and pack your stuff" I said to the three now smiling faces. To which they nodded and left.
After they left I closed the door went in my room and saw Daisuke still asleep and I smiled at him. I went to take a shower to get rid of all the grim and sweat on my body.
After coming out of the shower I decided to write a letter addressed to Hokage telling about our leaving and I made sure to write another letter to her in which I will write about all that I found after taking with Orochimaru and sealed it in another envelope that can only be opened my Tsunade or me as I did not wanted Danzo or his underlings finding it.
After writing the letters I lied on my bed next to Daisuke and thought while stroking his hair 'I will never let any harm come to you baby'.
