Willa's P.o.v.
We went home at like 9 or something and went straight to bed. The next morning I woke up alone in bed.
"Alice?" I called groggily.
"Yeah babe?" She said as she walked into the room.
"What are you doing?" I asked.
"Misty called. You were still asleep so I answered and she asked if we'd like to go out with her and Chelsea today. I said sure."
"Whoa what are they already back together?" I asked in astonishment.
"No, no. Misty said she talked with Chelsea and so they are just friends now. I could just tell by listening to her that it hurt. I feel bad for, you know? Just from that short phone call I could tell how much she missed and loves Chelsea." Alice said as she ran a brush through her hair.
"I hope they can work all this out. They were such a great couple. What Misty did was awful but she's torn up and really regrets it." I said and sat up.
"I think she asked us to go along for Chels's sake. I don't think she wants things to be awkward. Well we're having a picnic in the park at noon."
"What time is it?" I asked.
"8:02 a.m." she said after checking her phone.
"Gah! Okay I'm going to take a shower if we're going to spend the day outside." I got up and dragged my still tired self to the bathroom. I quickly showered then got dressed in jeans, black Vans, and a light blue Fall Out Boy t-shirt. I brushed my hair and dried it, put on makeup, and walked out to the kitchen for breakfast.
Chance used his amazing cooking skills to make some amazing omelets. I had him put a ton of bacon in mine because why the hell not? Alice just ate a plain egg and toast on the side- so boring of her!
"Alice you're so boring." I said.
"What? No I'm not." She said.
"Yeah you are. You're so simple and boring."
"Oh you wait. I'll show you that I am definitely not boring." She said proudly.
"Haha, sure. You do that dear."
"You guys tend to act like a married couple already." Chance said.
I looked at Alice and she looked at me. "Yeah I guess." I said.
"Ooh so we're married now?" She inquired.
"Yup. You are now my wife." I grinned.
"Yeah totally doesn't matter that your both still in high school." Jackson said sarcastically. "Or the fact that you started dating just this year."
"You can't stop true love." Alice cooed.
"Aww so you're in looove?" Jackson asked.
"More than that." I said. Alice blushed a little. Wow its actually been a while since I've seen her blush.
"Oh wait hey when are you guys getting married?" I asked.
"Two weeks before school starts up again and you guys will finally be seniors! Then you can graduate and move on and leave this house..."
Jackson said and grinned. I playfully slapped him on the arm.
"You mean you don't love having us here?" Alice said and gasped.
"No. We hate you both. That's why we had you move here in the first place." Chance said.
Alice fake sobbed and I patted her on the back. "See what you did? Now my wife is crying because of you!"
Chance and Jackson cracked up and I heard Alice giggle.
We spent the rest of the time before leaving for the picnic joking around with the boys. When we saw it was nearing noon we waved goodbye and headed out.
"Do you think we would ever get married?" Alice asked as we walked to the park.
"I don't know. Would you want to?" I asked. In all seriousness I do love her, but marriage? I don't know.
"Maybe. I guess it depends if we stay together."
"Why wouldn't we?"
"Well don't you think we might split up after our last year ends? We might go to different colleges, move on with our lives. I'd never see you again..." Alice trailed off.
"As long as it's up to me, I won't ever leave you. If that means one day we'll get married, then that's alright. I've never thought marriage was all that necessary but with you, I don't know maybe it could be great."
She smiled and tackled me in a hug. "You're so sweet you know that?"
"And your still so boring." I joked.
She scoffed at me and ran ahead of me.
"Hey! Wait up!" I yelled after her.
We raced to the park and with my awesome skills I beat her to the picnic.
"Haha! Sucker." I teased.
"Psh whatever." Alice said and waved it off.
Chelsea and Misty both just kind of awkwardly sat on the blanket and didn't say anything.
"Jeez." Alice whispered.
"Hey guys!" I said loudly and hugged them both.
"Hey Willa. Hey Alice." Misty greeted.
Chelsea mumbled hellos and stared at the ground.
Getting them back together is going to be harder than I thought.
