Chapter 10

Right now Pickle, Shiraori, Peach, Mario and Luigi were on their way to the Boo Kingdom to see Queen Boosette. As they made their way through the forest surrounding the Boo kingdom the sun got covered with dark clouds.

Pickle: What did you three find out from Gadd about the situation?

Peach: Well we found out that the work bring the dead back could only be done by the citizens of the Boo Kingdom and the only one strong enough to bring an army of the dead is Queen Boosette.

Pickle sighed hearing the answer,

Luigi: What about you Prince Pickle?

Pickle: It's the same as yours, all the traces lead to Queen Boosette.

Luigi: I have heard, she eats any living beings that dare enter the castle. She eats them in a single bite!

Peach: I haven't met a Boo before but I have heard they pretty shy.

Shiraori: Why are you so reluctant to go to Queen Boosette, does she scare you?

Pickle: No that's not it. It's more...complicated.

Mario: Complicated?

Pickle: Well it was a long time but I and Queen Boosette...

Shiraori/Peach: 'Were in a relationship?!!?

Pickle: We use to be playmates.

Shiraori/Peach: *Sighs*'They were just playmates...wait a minute...that means childhood friends!!'

Luigi: So you were two childhood friends! Did she try to eat you!!

Pickle: Well she did try but failed.

Shiraori/Peach: She tried to eat you!!

Pickle waved off their concern.

Pickle: Don't worry, anyways we use to be playmates but suddenly one day she stopped coming, so I decided to check on her since she never replied to any of my letters. The staff wouldn't let me in telling me it was in the princess Boosette's orders. I think she just hates me for some reason.

Everyone was in their thoughts listening to the prince's story, Soon they reached the Boo Kingdom and just as Pickle remembered it was ghost town there was literally no one around and the castle looked just as haunted before.

Luigi: May-Maybe we sh-should stay her-here!

Peach: Don't be a scary cat Luigi.

Mario: Come on Luigi.

They reached the castle door, and Pickle knocked on it three times. Suddenly the door opened by itself, scaring Luigi, the castle had no lighting, with dark curtains over the windows. All in all it was a haunted castle at its fullest.

As Pickle stepped in a slight breeze blew rustling clothes and hair.
Suddenly Shiraori swung her scythe at something.

Pickle: STOP!

Shiraori stopped as everyone looked what she attacked. There was a small white ball covering its eyes scared and waiting for its demise. Seeing nothing happening it peaked through its small hands and saw everyone looking at it. Its shyness kicked in and it turned around and hid its face.

Luigi: Is-Is th-that a B-Boo?!

Suddenly it felt like being picked up, it peaked from its hands and saw it was in someone's palm. It followed the arm and its eyes landed on the smiling face of Pickle, quickly it hid its face in shyness.

Pickle: No need to worry little one.

The Boo peaked at Pickle again hearing the gentle voice, feeling a bit calmer. Pickle continued to smile.
