23: Leaving tomorrow..

Janella's POV

Jane successfully helped me make it out of her house. She also dropped me off to mine.

I was currently back at my house and in relief.
Glad that we didn't get caught.

I smiled, spending time with Jane really makes me happy.

That girl..

My girlfriend.

"Janella" I heard a deep voice from behind me say.
I turned around.

"Hey Dad" I smiled.
"Goodmorning...you seem to be in a good mood. Something changed?" He asked.

"No, just excited for my trip to abroad for filming" I brought up. "That's great to hear" He said.

"Good thing you brought it up" He added.
"Why is that?" I asked.
"They moved the date, you should get packed since your leaving early tomorrow" He said so casually.

"Tomorrow?!" I said in a tone and looked panicked.
"Yes tomorrow, you don't seem excited anymore" He said and looked suspicious.

"I mean- Tomorrow! Wow, that's great" I forced a smile. "Mhm, get packing" He repeated.

"Thanks for letting me know dad" I said.
"Ofcourse, I'll get going now. I have a meeting" He replied.

"Ingat po kayo" I said before he left.

What a great way to ruin my mood!
I'm leaving tomorrow and I barely got to spend time with Jane.

I feel horrible..

I sighed.

What makes it even worse is my schedule is full for the whole day, I won't be able to see Jane.

I groaned.

Jane's POV

I was out with Julia at one of our favorite parks to go to.

Taking pictures as usual.

"Hey, we've been here a bajillion times Jane! Your taking so many pictures" She whined.

"I just missed it! I was gone for a while" I replied.
"A few days to be excact" She mumbled.
"Still" I mumbled back.

"So how are things with you and Janella?" She asked. "Great" I smiled.

"Woah?" She said in shocked.

I totally forgot I hadn't informed her about us yet.

"Well actually she's my girlfriend" I said.
"HA? GIRL-GIRLFRIEND?!" She shouted.
I widened my eyes.

"Julia ang ingay mo" I whisper yelled.
"Teka lang Jane! Pano- Anong nag bago?!" She asked.

"It's a long story pero girlfriend ko na sya" I said.
"Come on, wag ganyan! I want the details" She begged.

"Details?" I asked.
"Oo! About you and Janella" She said.

*Ring, ring*

I took my phone out of my pocket.
"Speaking of my girlfriend" I smiled.

"Huy! Di pa tayo tapos diyan" She knuged my elbow.
"Bahala ka" I mumbled.

I walked away to answer the call.
"Hey Jane" She said.

Hearing her voice is enough to make my whole day, I smiled.

"Hey Jea ko" I replied.
"You okay? Did something come up?" I asked.
"Actually something did.." She replied, it made me worry because there was a change of tone in her voice.

"Ano nang yare? Okay kalang ba?" I asked.
"Im fine Jane" She responded.

"It's just that..they moved the dates Jane" She said.
"I have to leave tomorrow, and my schedule is fully packed today! I wont get to see you I-.." She said sadly.

"Are you sure your okay? You dont sound okay, where are you? Send me your location Jea" I told her.

"Why are you worrying about me? What about you? Jane I feel so guilty for having to leave" She explained.

"Guilty? Trabaho mo naman yan eh, I understand ofcourse Jea" I reassured her. "So your okay? Sure ka?" She asked again.

"Oo, a million times oo, aslong as your okay too" I said. "God I wish I could send you my location but I'm getting interviewed for a video soon" She said.

"Okay lang yan" I said.
"I just wish I could see you" She whispered.
"You will" I told her.

"Paano? I cant see you today and im leaving first thing in the morning tomorrow" She said.

"Basta, you will. You trust me naman diba? I want to see you too so just trust me and be patient" I said.

"Okay, I trust you Jane. I dont want to leave without seeing you" She said. I smiled, "Sige na, baka busy ka" I told her.

"Okay, I'll see you soon right?" She asked.
"Oo, promise" I replied.

I was about to end the call.
"Jane, I love you" She said.

I smiled even more.

"I love you too" I replied.
"I love you so much Jea, don't forget that! I will keep my promises so don't worry and just focus on your work" I explained.

"You better, I love you more" She said and ended the call before me.

I sighed the sigh I have been holding back.

Shes really leaving tomorrow and for 2 months..

I gripped on tight to my phone.
"Hey, you okay na?" Julia asked and walked up to me.

I nodded.

"You dont look okay" She said.
"I'm fine" I faked a smile.

"Hey, you know how your cousin works at the airport?" I asked her.

"Mhm? Why?" She asked.
