JSS - Carl Grimes

I was sitting on Carls front porch as I was waiting for him as we were supposed to hang out today but he never showed.

There was a new girl that came in Alexandria a couple days ago. Carl says he's been seeing her go over the walls by herself when no one's looking. He's been hell bent over her since he's seen her come in the gates of Alexandria.

Carl hasn't showed and I don't want to ask Rick incase he freaks out and I get Carl in trouble so I walk around Alexandria and look around myself. That's when I see enid go over the wall and Carl go after her. I wait a minute and look around to see if anyone's looking and I climb after them and follow them inside the woods.

It's been awhile and I have been following them for a good minute. They stop and I hide behind a tree. They talked for what seemed like hours, but a walker intervenes.

"Come on." I hear Enid say while grabbing Carl's hand and running the opposite direction and I follow.

They make it to a tree and it has a big enough opening that they can both fit. That's when they both pause and look at each other. They begin to close in and their lips touch. I could feel my heart break but a noise catches my attention.

I hear a noise and it's the walker from earlier. I try to be quiet and I grab it's hair and plunge my knife into its head but I lose grip of the walker and it falls on the ground with a thump and it caught both Carl's and Enid's attention.

"Y/n?" Carl says looking at me.

I tear my eyes off the walker on the ground and just stand there with tears in my eyes.

"It's not what it looks like." Carl says as his eyes go wide.

"I loved you." I say and I run by in the direction of Alexandria. I could hear Carl running after me but I didn't look back.

"Y/n!" Carl yells.

I make it back to Alexandria and I run to my room and lock the door. I ended up falling asleep but after awhile I wake back up to Carl knocking on my bedroom door but I don't answer and I don't talk.
