Missing Scenes

Missing Scene 3x05

This is set after JJ's crash at the chateau.

"You guys are actually insane did you know that?" Topper says slightly annoyed as they were pulling in to the Chateau.

It had been a pretty quiet ride for the most part, rightfully so considering the events that had taken place. They had failed again, stealing a fake cross and JJ almost dying. 

"You guys had me involved in a damn train robbery" Topper said

"Well you didn't have to help us" Sarah said as she and the others got of of the car.

Topper had already dropped Pope and Cleo off at Heyward's, so it was just Sarah, JJ, and Kie. 

"No I didn't and I shouldn't've" Topper argued back  

"Well you did and its done, so can you just let it go man" JJ said annoyed

"Its hard to let go when we ALMOST GOT ARRESTED" Topper raised his voice at that last part.

"ALMOST being the key word" JJ said rolling his eyes

"Yeah ALMOST and you-"

"Topper enough" Sarah said cutting him off

"Look thank you for your help tonight and dropping us off. We ALL appricate it. Isn't that right  guys?" Sarah asked JJ and Kie.

"Mhm" "Yeah right" Kie and JJ said at the same time

That "mhm" was the first thing Kie has said in 2 hours and JJ has noticed. He knows that he scared her tonight and has been trying to cheer her up in the car. But none of his efforts worked, he would quietly say something to her and she would just flash a fake smile. He needs to talk to her and tell her how sorry he was for worrying her. But he was also extremely nervous not knowing if he could face her.

"Well I'm gonna head inside, you two coming?" JJ said pulling himself out of his own thoughts.

Kie shook her head while Sarah said she would be inside in a couple of minutes.  So Kie and JJ made there way to front porch while Sarah spoke with Topper. Their arms kept brushing together as they made there way up the steps and in to the chateau. Kie went and sat down on the couch while JJ went a grabbed two beers out of the fridge. 

"Would you like one?" JJ asked her as he made his way over to the couch.

He was standing in front of her looking down with a small awkward smile. She looked up at him and spoke softly

"You really scared me" 

The tone in her voice and the way she was looking at him broke his heart.

"Im sorry." JJ paused and sat next to her, setting the beers down on the coffee table before he spoke again "I didn't mean to worry you" 

JJ was looking anywhere but her eyes.

"You didn't just worry me, you terrified me" Kiara spoke putting emphasis on the word 'terrified' "For a second I really thought I lost you"

He turned to look at her and realized she was starting to cry. He hated the fact that he was the reason for the few tears that had escaped and went down her cheek. 

"Kie" JJ spoke softly 

She turned to look at him meeting his eyes, he then wiped off the tears that were on her face and pulled her into a hug. He felt her completely give in to his embrace as she wrapped her arms around his neck and rested her head on his shoulder. JJ held onto her so tightly it felt like he was saying everything he wanted to say 'I'm so sorry' ' I wont ever scare you like that again' 'I love you' but couldn't. JJ felt Kie tighten her grip on him as a response saying 'I forgive you' and 'I love you too'. It was as if they had a whole conversation with just one hug.
