Once the taxi dropped her off at her hotel, she quickly made her way to her room and took a shower. After drying off, she sat in front of the full-length mirror and began doing her makeup. Afterwards, she styled her hair by curling it neatly. She then slipped on her dress and added the final touches - jewelry, perfume, a purse, and heels. She checked her phone and saw that it was 6:55 - right on time. She decided to kill time by posting a picture on instagram.

Olivia went down to the lobby once she saw Joao's comment. She saw his car parked in the front and headed over. She knocked on his car window and he quickly got out. He went over to her side of the car and opened the door for her. "What a gentleman!" "Nothing less for you, linda."He walked over to the driver's side of the vehicle, got in, and looked over at her. He admired her from head to toe. "You look stunning, Livy, truly stunning." "Why thank you, Mr.Felix, you look pretty decent yourself." He smiled and turned his attention to his steering wheel and drove off.
"You're going to love the restaurant I'm taking you to tonight, they have the best food." He stole a quick glance at her while stopped at a red light. "I heard you liked Italian?" Her face lit up as he said that. "How'd you know?" He smiled. "I have my ways." She laughed as Joao placed his hand on her thigh. Soon after they both started talking about their busy lives.
Once they arrived, Joao quickly got out of the car to open the door for Olivia. She smiled at his gesture and walked next to him into the restaurant. He walked up to the waitress and told her the name for the reservation. They both followed the waitress and Olivia admired the gorgeous chandelier and the huge windows that looked out to the city of London.
They both sat down at a table right near a window, with a gorgeous view of London. It was breathtaking. They started small talk before their waiter came over to them. "Good evening you two, tonight I will be your waiter, my name is Michael. Is there anything that I could help you two with?" Olivia looked at Joao and he gave her a slight nod. They both order their food and drinks and the waiter left to put in their order.
Joao looked over to Olivia. "So tell me, what was the reason of you flying all the way to London?" "Ok, so basically, over these past few weeks, we've been talking to each other pretty much everyday, and I feel that I've started to feel a connection, between us two...? I don't know if you feel the same or..." Joao grabbed her hands and smiled at her. "I've been thinking the same thing. Honestly speaking, I've felt this way ever since I saw your instagram post." Olivia let out a huge sigh of relief that she didn't even know she was holding in. "Good, because if you didn't just say that, this trip would be for nothing." They both laughed and the waiter brought out their food, perfect timing.
They enjoyed their food and Joao and Olivia were getting ready to leave. The waiter brought out the check and Olivia started to reach into her purse to grab her wallet. "Linda, what are you doing? I'm paying." "No it's ok, I was the one who suggested the date, let me pay." He shook his head and pushed her card away. He quickly handed his card over to the waiter when he came. She looked at Joao and smiled. "Thank you, but next time, let me pay." He agreed, knowing he wouldn't let her pay the next time. They both got into the car and started heading back to Olivia's hotel.
Once there, Joao walked Olivia inside into the lobby. "Thank you for tonight Joao, seriously. I had the best time with you." He smiled and grabbed her hands. "No, thank you linda. Thank you for showing up to my game, and flying all the way to London to see me." She smiled as he wrapped his arms around her. She looked up at him and he he smirked. "Linda?" "Yes Joao?" "Can I kiss you?" She nodded and smiled. He placed a gentle peck on her lips. He smiled as he broke away. "Goodnight linda." "Goodnight Joao."
She walked to the elevators and made her way up to her room. She threw herself on her bed and screamed into her pillow. She couldn't believe this was happening. She got ready for bed and went to go lay down. As she was trying to fall asleep, she couldn't stop thinking about the kiss, even if it was just a peck. She slowly drifted off to sleep with Joao on her mind.
