Joao's pov

Joao soon finished getting ready for their little date tonight. He hopped in the car and drove to a jewelry store. He planned on asking Olivia to be his girlfriend tonight and wanted to get her a promise ring. 

He arrived at the store and began browsing around. "May I help you?" He turned around and was met with a worker. "I was looking for a promise ring. Any recommendations?" The worker smiled and brought Joao over to a silver ring. "She would love this." Joao picked up the ring and smiled. "I'll take this one." The employee smiled and checked Joao out. Before he went to pick up Olivia, he also stopped at a flower store to buy her red roses, her favorite. He placed the roses in the backseat of his car and kept the ring in his pocket. 

He soon arrived at the hotel and texted Olivia.

He smiled at his phone as he was texting her. He heard a knock on his car window and looked up to see Olivia's smiling face. He unlocked the door to let her in. "Hey jo jo." "Hiii linda." He smiled and kissed her cheek. "You look gorgeous tonight." "Thank you Joao." He reached in the back and pulled out the roses. "Pretty flowers for a pretty lady." He winked at her as he gave her the flowers. "They're beautiful Joao, thank you." He grabbed her hand and lightly caressed her hand with his thumb. "You're welcome, linda.

"So, where are we going tonight Joao?" He shrugged. "It's a surprise." She laughed as she looked out the window. Joao placed his hand on her thigh as he drove to the restaurant. 

He drove up to a nice steakhouse and opened the door for her. As they walked in, Joao wrapped his arm around her waist. He let the waiter know the reservation name, and the waiter directed them to a table in the far back. Joao pulled the chair out for Olivia, then sat down himself. 

"So, tell me Joao, why'd you want to see me again tonight? Couldn't stand another second without me?" Joao laughed. "Partially, meu amor, but the other reason why I brought you here tonight was because I needed to ask a very important question." Olivia raised her eyebrow and Joao continued. "So, it's no secret that I obviously had an attraction towards you when I first saw your instagram. I reached out to you and I felt that we had an instant connection. We talked every day and I felt myself falling more and more for you. Then yesterday, you decided to come see me and my heart absolutely melted. I've never had anybody do that for me and yesterday, I knew that you were the one. So what I wanted to ask you was, would you be my girlfriend, Olivia?" He searched her eyes for any sort of answer. "Yes, I would love that." He smiled brightly as he pulled the ring out of his pocket. "I want you to have this. It's a promise from me to you, a promise that I'll never hurt you." He grabbed the ring out of the box and place it onto her finger, kissing her hand afterwards. 

The two had a great night together and it was time for Joao to take Olivia back to her hotel. Once back, Joao got out of the car and walked Olivia back into the hotel lobby. (again for two nights inna row but wtv.) He wrapped his arms around her. "You should stay here in London, with me." Olivia looked up at him. "I wish I could but you know I can't. I have a career back in L.A that I just can't give it up, and I know you understand that." He looked down at her and mumbled. "Yeah I know." "I'll be back soon, I promise." He smiled and hugged her tighter. "Good." She broke away from the hug and kissed him. "Goodnight jo jo." "Goodnight linda. Text me tomorrow when you get on and off the plane please." "Yes Joao I will, don't worry." She smiled and Joao walked out to his car.
