joao's pov
Joao was driving back home after dropping Olivia off. He couldn't stop thinking about the night he spent with her. It all felt surreal to him. A month ago, if someone told him that he would be going on a date with a gorgeous girl who popped on his instagram page, he wouldn't believe them. He finally pulled up to his sat but stayed in the car. He just couldn't stop thinking about Olivia.
After a few minutes, he finally brought himself together and went inside. He was welcomed in by a short-legged dog, Floki. He picked Floki up and brought him into his room, where he set him down onto his bed. He then got changed and went to bed.
He woke up early the next morning for training. He got dressed, grabbed the things he needed, and went to the training ground. Lucky for him, his house wasn't too far away from the training facilities so there wasn't much of a hassle.
He walked into the locker room where a few of his teammate were already getting dressed. He did the same and him and Havertz both walked out together.
They started passing the ball a bit before Joao spoke up. "Hey, do you remember that one girl I saw on Instagram? Olivia? You helped me message her for the first time." Kai thought for a bit but then finally remembered. "Oh yeah! I remember her! Was she at the game yesterday?" Joao's face lit up a bit. "Yeah, she flew out here yesterday morning to see me play. She also came her to tell me something." Kai looked at Joao curiously. "Oh yeah? What was the reason?" "Well, she actually told me that she had feelings for me...?" A smile grew on Havertz's face. "You can thank me for that." Joao laughed. "I do? Why's that?" "Well because if it weren't for me, you would've never liked her post, or even messaged her. You're welcome." "I guess that's fair man." They both laughed and got to practicing.
A few hours later, training was finally finished and Joao started to head home. He got into the car and decided to text Olivia.
