LET'S JUST SAY the story on the other side of royals isn't so great, at least for me.
"You sure you don't wanna come out with us Essy?" Mal asks looking at me worried, "I'm sorry I wish I could but Mother needs me apparently she's getting paid big time for another dose," I mumble as I eat some food Carlos stole for me.
"But didn't she already take over six doses today?" Jay asks worried, "don't worry you guys, I'll be fine, like my mother always says she knows best, but you guys go out and have fun I'll probably be here if you need!" I exclaim as I smile.
"I hope you know I dislike you mom a lot," Carlos's grumbles as I giggle, "isn't that how villains are supposed to be?" I say as they all roll their eyes. "Villains are mean and cruel but your mom just flat out tortured you, you literally have a fainting problem because of her!" Evie exclaims, "and you don't get anything from helping her, you should be getting your cut, she's lucky she can even do this!" Mal exclaims sounding a bit mad, I just sigh as I give her a light smile.
"If you keep worrying about me I'll start to think you're on the wrong side," I joke, "Essy even villain can worry," Mal mumbles, it was hard for her to admit her weakness but for me she does.
"Oh no your guys are getting sentimental with me hurry and go! I'll see you later!" I yell as I push them out, some sighing and some laughing as I do.
I take a seat letting out a breath I didn't know I was holding.
I assume you're curious about what had the four baddest villains kids sweating in worry, well let me introduce myself. I'm Estelleanna Gothel, daughter of Esther Gother aka Mother Gothel. When I was born my mother became obsessed with me and by obsessed I mean she was crazy about making me like Rapunzel.
The moment I was born she had the Sundrop Flower shoved down my throat. My father, who was in love with her before the Isle was formed, collected as many Sundrop flowers as he could find, many being three. When the Isle was formed he finally gave them to her so she could have hope during what they saw as a dark time. But after I was born she ignored my father and no longer cared about him, and became obsessed with me. So he left and hid away, and ended up not being a part of my life.
When my hair started to grow she sang a song, but when my hair never shined she got angry, she forced me to eat the second flower, but still nothing happened, she waited a few days hoping it needed time but when still nothing happened she shoved the final flower down my throat. During that time she did it in front of all of my friends which originally formed their worry for me.
She was furious when nothing happened and started to ignore me and isolate me, not like she could after all my friends loved to sneak around. But one day when I got her she saw how fast my knee healed and it clicked with her.
After that day she found out that with my blood people could heal any injury, even a deadly one. With the touch of my hand that had an open wound or my blood being injected into someone they would instantly heal. That's why my mother started a Clinic, of course it was only to sell my blood.
My friends formed a hatred for my mother especially when I started to faint a lot more than usual.
Now you're probably wondering, how does it work on an island with a barrier with no magic, and why not just say no to my mother?
Well my magic isn't what the barrier was blocking, dark magic is what's blocked but since I have good magic it slips past the rules of the barrier.
And for my mother...let's say I've tried, but it never ended well and I always got the same saying after my punishment was over, "mother knows best."
So you could say I hate being on the Isle the most, I was ostracized by kids since I had goodness magic, I wasn't particularly mean or evil which didn't help me fit in, I had a cute aura to me while everyone had the stand offish and mean look to them, another thing that didn't help me fit in. The only reason I got lucky with these four and a few others was because they were the few who saw behind the scenes of my life, making them a bit protective of me to say the least.
Well anyways enough about me, let's sneak out cause I think I'll die if she takes any more blood today.
With that I quietly sneak out and head to the bell tower where you can pretty much see the entire Isle and what's going on. It was my nice hiding spot, I got a nice view of the Isle and Auradon.
Suddenly I hear familiar voices, it was the crew, and of course they were singing, and of course I'm gonna watch.
"They say I'm trouble, They say I'm bad, They say I'm evil, And that makes me glad," Mal sings.
"A dirty no-good, Down to the bone, Your worst nightmare, Can't take me home!" Jay continues as he sings.
"So I've got some mischief, In my blood, Can you blame me? I never got no love," Evies sings as she struts across a table.
"They think I'm callous, A low-life hood, I feel so useless, Misunderstood!" Carlos sings as Mal and Evie join together.
"Mirror, mirror on the wall, Who's the baddest of them all? Welcome to my wicked world, wicked world!" Evie and Mal sing, as I watch from my usual hiding spot.
"I'm rotten to the core, core, Rotten to the core I'm rotten to the core, core, Who could ask for more? I'm nothing like the kid next, like the kid next door, I'm rotten to the (core), I'm rotten to the, I'm rotten to the core!" They four sing together as they meet.
"Call me a schemer, Call me a freak, How can you say that? I'm just unique!" Mal sings as she spray paints an M on a curtain.
"What, me a traitor? Ain't got your back? Are we not friends? What's up with that?" Jays sings as he flips from a bear stealing another thing that he thinks could be a lamp.
"So I'm a misfit, So I'm a flirt, I broke your heart, I made you hurt," Evie sings as she flirts with a scarf man.
"The past is past, Forgive, forget. The truth is You ain't seen nothing yet!" Carlos sings as he kicks over a bunch of apples and throws hay at a boy.
"Mirror, mirror on the wall, Who's the baddest of them all? Welcome to my wicked world, wicked world!" Mal and Evie sing before running out to an open area where they meet with the others dancing and singing with a huge group with them.
"I'm rotten to the core, core, Rotten to the core I'm rotten to the core, core, Who could ask for more? I'm nothing like the kid next, like the kid next door. I'm rotten to the (core), I'm rotten to the, I'm rotten to the core!" They finish, with that, Mal steals a lollipop from a baby as she grins the other people behind her cheering and laughing as she shows them.
My eyes suddenly widen as I spot a familiar face approaching, "oh no," I mumble as I watch closely as the others scream and run when they notice leaving my four friends by themselves.
