[Y/N] hummed, fiddling with the wires in her hands. She was currently waiting for one of her customers to come pick up their order, but they haven't shown up yet. Two hours. And they still weren't here. Huffing in annoyance, she set down the wires and went to brew herself a cup of tea. Maybe they'll come soon since she'll be closing down the store in an hour or so.

She sat there idly for another fifteen minutes until the door creaked open as someone stepped inside. [Y/N] quickly got up from her seat, "How may I help you?" She frowned upon noticing it was a young child whom had just walked into her store. The boy had fluffy white hair tied into a messy ponytail and he wore a smaller version of the Cloud Knights uniform.

"You're Miss [Y/N] right??" The boy asked curiously, golden eyes glinting under the light.

"Uhhh, yes that's me." [Y/N] replied, "Is there something you need?"

"Nonono, I just wanted to see you in person that's all!" The boy gleefully exclaimed, stepping closer to take a better look at the woman. "Wow, you really are beautiful!"

"Thanks??" [Y/N]'s cheeks flushed red in embarrassment.

"Jing Yuan, what are you doing here? Jingliu is going to beat you up for skipping out on training."

"High Elder! I didn't see you here, don't worry I will go soon." The boy, Jing Yuan, smiled, his shaky voice betraying his expression. This Jingliu person must be scary, [Y/N] thought. She looked up at the newcomer and saw a familiar face.

"Dan Feng! What brings you here today?"

"I'm here to bring him back to his master. He has been late to classes recently, so his master wanted me to find him." The Vidyadhara explained, grabbing Jing Yuan's shoulder to prevent the boy from running off to who knows where.

[Y/N] mouth opened in an 'O' shape. "I see, well I don't want to bother you if you're busy then."

Dan Feng nodded as he began to leave the store with Jing Yuan in tow, "Don't worry about it. Sorry about him barging in."

"I didn't barge in! I went into the store like how anybody else would!"

"Save your energy, you'll need it for today's sparring session. Jingliu is in a foul mood."

"What! No!! Dan Feng, you've gotta save me!"

Watching the two leave the store, [Y/N] sank back into her seat and rested her head against the wooden table. My head hurts.....

The Next Day

The floorboards creaked as Dan Feng stepped inside the store. It was early in the morning and the store was empty, most of the residents of the Luofu were still soundly sleeping. His pointed ears perked up as he heard a crash from upstairs as someone hurriedly made their way down a nearby set of stairs.

"Sorry I-" [Y/N] gasped until she noticed Dan Feng standing in the middle of the store. "Dan Feng?"

"[Y/N]." The man greeted, hands behind his back as he observed her state. Her [h/c] hair was in a messy bun and her gray robes in disarray. "What happened?"

"Some stuff fell over and I was trying to clean it up until I heard you come in." The woman sheepishly admitted, brushing the dust off her clothes. "How can I help?"

Dan Feng shook his head, "Nothing. I just wanted to come and see you."

"Really?" [Y/N] asked curiously, [e/c] gazing into his emerald ones. "I don't have any appointments today, so you can stay here as long as you like."
