[Y/N] paced around her shop in anticipation. Dan Feng had messaged her a couple minutes ago, letting her know that he was coming to pick her up. She bit her cheeks nervously and played around with the hem of her sleeves. After what felt like an eternity, the door opened as Dan Feng stepped in.
"Dan Feng! You're here!" [Y/N] smiled, rushing up to him.
"I assume you're ready to go? You seem pretty excited." Dan Feng noted as he watched the [h/c]-ette bounce on the balls of her feet.
"Yeah, let's go!"

"Whoaaaa, so this is Scalegorge Waterscape!" [Y/N] exclaimed, staring in awe at the stone buildings and coral plants sprouting up from the ground. "The grass is blue!!" She squealed in excitement and began to run off towards the central pavilion where the other Vidyadhara were gathered.
"[Y/N]! Slow down!" Dan Feng shouted as he quickly caught up to her and grasped her wrist. "Don't run off, you'll be in trouble if you're caught wandering around alone. Stay close to me."
"O-oh alright. Sorry about running off." She apologized before straightening herself.
"Come, I'll show you around."
Dan Feng led her around the area, occasionally pointing out a couple important locations here and there. The two received stares from the local Vidyadhara, but the two ignored them as they made their way around the home of the draconic species.
"What are these?" [Y/N] asked curiously, pointing at what seemed like a pearlescent stone decorated with scaly pattern. She had noticed there were many of these large stones all over the place, often surrounded by large soft petals and orange coral.
"Those are Vidyadhara eggs. When we die, we return to this state before we hatch again and start our lives once more." Dan Feng explained, lightly pressing his hands against the translucent egg.
[Y/N] stared at the egg in awe, reaching out and lightly stroking the egg as well. For a split second, she transformed into a Cloud Knight wielding a spear. She saw her junior standing in front of her, also wielding a spear. One careless move and she felt the spear pierce her chest. Misery, dejection, self-doubt, washed over her before it all disappeared. "When you reincarnate, do you still have the memories of your previous life or do they disappear?" [Y/N] asked Dan Feng.
He shook his head, "No, once we reincarnate, the memories of who we once were disappear."
"I see...." [Y/N] murmured as she stared at the egg once more. Dan Feng observed her movements silently. Had she been some other random person, he probably would've already told them to leave or at least stop touching the egg. She snapped out of her trance and quickly pulled her hand away from the egg. "I'm sorry, I shouldn't have done that without permission." The lady apologized profusely.
Dan Feng shook his head, "It's fine, you weren't being disrespectful. Come this way, there's something I want to show you."
The two headed towards the north end of Scalegorge Waterscape. The sound of rushing water was becoming louder and louder. "Grab my hand and close your eyes." Dan Feng instructed.
"O-okay." She said nervously before taking his hand and slowly closing her eyes.
As they continued walking, and as the sound of water grew louder and louder, [Y/N] subconsciously began to tighten her grip on Dan Feng's hand. He wasn't going to throw her into the water or something right??
