When I wake up, there is ONE thought that comes up in my mind. Peeta Mellark. I quickly push the thought away and I start thinking about not getting late to school. I check the clock, and I have 5 minutes to get to school! As fast as I can I grab some clothes, put them one, run downstairs, grab a slice of bread and run out of the house.
When I'm at the school I see that I'm 8 minuets late. Crap! I run inside and I open the door to the classroom. "Very nice of you showing up" the teacher tease me. "I'm sorry..." I say while I sit down. "Just turn to page 19" Mr. Douglas say while he adjusts his glasses. Then I suddenly hear Peeta whisper something to me. "I thought you skipped school" he laughs, "very funny" I say sarcastic, "well, I'm just glad you showed up" he smile at me, and our eyes meet... "Miss Everdeen? Are there any problems" the teacher suddenly say, "no... No, not at all!" I reply fast, "well, maybe you can continue reading then" he looks at me, "uh..", "it's the third paragraph" I hear Peeta whisper to me, "thanks" I whisper back.
At lunch I meet Peeta at the same time as yesterday. Again, we talk. I have understood that he is one of the silent and cute boys. I like it. I like the way he acts in front of me. Suddenly the boy Cato sits down at our table. "So, you're the new girl" he smiles a perverse smile, "yeah.." I pinch in the food, "are you cutting yourself or something? You look depressed!" He tease, "excuse me?!" I shout at him! "Oh sorry! I didn't know that you have a problem with your temperament!" He laughs, "that's it!" I scream at him while I punch him in the face! "You just didn't!" He screams and he pushes me over the table, I slap him in the face and he spits at me. "Enough!" One of the teachers come running towards us. "Mr. Hadley! Miss Everdeen! Stop it right now!". Cato let me go while he walks out of the room with a teacher behind him. "And you miss Everdeen, follow me" another teacher say strict. "Oh crap".
