The teacher leads me to the principals office, the principal looks young, maybe just 28, she has short dark hair and she's wearing a dark blue women suit. "So, I need you to tell me exactly what happened at the lunch break" she begins, "I have only heard that you were in a fight with another student", "well that's true, he pissed me off and then I punched him in his face, and then he pulled me over the table and and I slapped him" I replied, "well, since you're new, i wont tell your mom, but you will get detention after class today, you and Mr. Hadley!" She says.
I go back to class where I see Peeta waiting for me. "So... How did it go?" He asks me, "detention, I was actually kinda lucky tho" I smile, he smile back. "Detention sucks... Cato got it to right?", "yeah", "hm, it must be really boring just you two... Wait a minute" he grins.
"What are you doing Mr. Mellark!" I suddenly hear, and then I hear a loud crash! He smashed the window. "Go to the principals office immediately!" The teacher shouts at him!
When the school is over I sit in the classroom having a staring contest with Cato. He's disgusting. Then, I suddenly see Peeta walking in the door. "looks like I got detention too" he grins.
In the middle of the detention, Peeta suddenly whisper something to me: "hey, I was wondering if you wanted to go on a date with me?", "wait what?!" I say while I try to not sound mean, "yeah, I really wanna get to know you better" he say with a smirk, "so what do you say?", "uh.. Why not" I smile and he returns the smile. "Cool!" He whisper back, and I try to not laugh.
After the detention he walks with me home. "So the date... I was thinking about paintball!" He grins, "yeah, that sounds fun!" I reply, "Awesome!" He say eagerly, "can't wait!" We both say at the same time, and then we laugh. "I really like you Katniss" he smile and laugh at the same time, "I really do".
Sorry for short chapter... AGAIN😖 but since this fanfic doesn't have much readers, I guess it's not big prob😂
