"The man I'm enquiring about is the Head of the British Auror Office! How could you have misplaced the Head of the British Auror Office?!" We were walking hurriedly down a corridor (Merlin knew where we actually were, I didn't!), and Newt was talking to a very obnoxious Ministry Official. He turned to Newt and stopped, us stopping in front of him.
"It's our contention that since he was never in our custody, we never misplaced him." I wanted to sigh aloud and punch the guy in the face, but that would not only mean revealing myself, but I would've received a few... questioning looks. Lally started arguing with the Ministry Official as I stepped forwards, ready to attack if needed.
"Sir. There were dozens of people there. Any one of them can corroborate-"
"And you're name is?" The official asked. I rolled my eyes, giving him a look of disgust I would never have had the courage to give him if I were visible. Jacob sighed for me.
"Let's get out of here..." He said, before he looked straight up at someone- Helmut, and pointed to him. "Hey! Wait! That's the guy... Come here! Come here!"" Newt and Lally turned to see him walking with another man, walking together through the corridor. We gave chase and started walking quickly towards them both, Jacob in front, still pointing.
"Excuse me! Hey! That's the guy. He knows where Theseus is. Hello! Where's Theseus?!"
Helmut continued walking as the man walked away in a different direction. We continued to follow Helmut, with Jacob continuing his 'enquiries'.
"That's him- he knows about Theseus-"
Before we could advance any further, a sheet of glass cut us off from advancing any further along the corridor. Jacob sighed, looking out at Helmut, who continued to walk down the corridor.
"WHERE'S THESEUS?!" He shouted, almost deafening Newt, Lally, and I.
We walked out of the building through one of the side entrances and hung around, unsure of what exactly to do.
"Newt." Newt, Jacob and I looked back and saw a black glove floating in the air. The glove pointed around a corner. Newt walked forward and caught the glove, before we followed a second glove and found Dumbledore behind a pillar. Dumbledore cautiously lead us down an avenue.
"Albus."
"Theseus has been taken to the Erkstag." Wait, what was-
"But the Erkstag shut down years ago." Newt said, confusing me even more.
"Yes, well, it's the Ministry's secret little bed-and-breakfast now. You'll need this to see him..." Dumbledore placed both of his gloves in his hat (which I presumed had an Undetectable Extension Charm on it) and took out a piece of paper from it and handed the paper to Newt, who took it, confused.
"... and one of these..."
Dumbledore gave Newt another paper from his hat.
"... and this."
And another paper.
Newt took the papers, still slightly bewildered. I frowned. Was someone going to tell me exactly what the Erkstag was? Before I could ask (it was probably a good thing I didn't get the opportunity to do so!), Dumbledore walked through the brick wall to leave the Ministry, followed swiftly by the rest of us (Lally had to push Jacob through, as he wasn't particularly keen!).
"I trust you're enjoying your wand, Mr. Kowalski?" Dumbledore asked as we emerged on the other side. Jacob smiled and nodded as we walked away from the entrance to the Ministry.
"Me? Oh, yeah. Thank you, Mr. Dumbledore. It's a real pip."
"I advise you to keep it safe." Dumbledore replied, before addressing Lally. "Professor Hicks?"
