"You're coming with me."
Sooyun was by the lockers when she felt someone pulling the strap of her bag. "Eh?" She grumbled, looking over her shoulder. Jungwon, in his grumpy mood, was dragging her towards the end of the corridor. "Hey, let me go. Jungwon. Ya!"
"Here." He let go off her, and pushed a paper in her direction. They were in the library now. "Use this spell on me."
She frowned, looking down at the page. "What?"
"Do that woo doo thing. I want to feel what Sunghoon feels when he sees Sunoo. I'm trying to figure out something here."
"You're crazy."
"Not as crazy as you are after Jake."
Her mouth fell open in disbelief. "I don't like you."
"You don't have to. I'm not interested."
"Fuck off. I don't want to help you." She pushed the paper into his chest, and turned away.
"Jake loves Sunghoon. I'm trying to help your Jakey boo here."
"You're unbelievable." Sooyun shook her head. She met his eyes and chuckled, ruffling his hair. His eyes narrowed as he pushed her hand away. "You look like an angry cat."
"I'm not here to entertain you. Are you doing it or not?" Jungwon rolled his eyes. "I've a lot to do, so hurry up with your answer."
"Geez, you're something." Sooyun shook her head. "I know this spell already. Been studying since this shit went down."
"How good of you." Jungwon grinned. "Here he came. Do it now." He glanced at Sunoo, and tapped Sooyun's shoulder, encouraging her. She sighed, closing her eyes and letting the energy do the work.
Jungwon watched Sunoo. Slowly, a weird sensation went through his body. His pupils dilated and he felt mismerised. He tilted his head and moved his eyes as Sunoo walked around the library. His fingers moved through the books and Jungwon unconsciously followed the boy, brushing through the spaces Sunoo touched, reliving his scent. It felt like he was in a daze as he went after the boy.
Then he heard it. The beating of Sunoo's pulse. The pumping of blood. The scent of blood. Jungwon could taste it. The blood. He could imagine the satisfaction of feeling that taste, the hunger blinded him for a second. Something inside him roared at him to go for Sunoo's blood. To rip his neck off. To drink-
Sooyun noticed the haze on his face, and placed a hand on his shoulder. "Hey, you alright?"
Jungwon jumped. The connection broke and he frowned, halting his steps. Sunoo glanced over his shoulder and smiled at the duo before disappearing behind the shelves. Jungwon shook his head, running a hand down his face. "What the fuck just happened?"
"You... You were acting weird. Woah. Sunghoon feels like you, you mean?" She snickered. "That's a blunder. You looked ready to cross the river of fire for the guy."
Jungwon looked back at Sunoo, and sighed. Something was wrong. He could feel it. This wasn't just any other attraction. It was a pull. No wonder Sunghoon felt like he was going crazy. This was no joke. This feeling of overwhelming attraction, calling for blood, for his soul... It was something else.
"The sacrifice thing." Jungwon frowned. "The story Ara told us... If Sunoo really is a sacrificial goat then.. what are the precautions?"
She hummed. "Well, don't taint his blood. Don't bite him. No matter how much tempting it is."
"Do you know... when I went into Sunghoon's zone, the first thing I felt other than attraction was the blood lust. I was ready to rip the guy's neck-" Jungwon noticed her stepping back. "I didn't do anything. I can control myself. I'm just concerned about Sunghoon. This feeling on a constant basis isn't right. It would make him go crazy."
