10 | I Hate You. I Love You

Sunghoon was so done with people around him.

Jake was behaving like a shadow of Sooyun which was understandable since the girl had a luck with deathly incidents, but his overbearing protectiveness was getting annoying. Even Sooyun was trying to escape his presence, which often led to arguments, and of course, poor Sunghoon's peace was getting disrupted always here and there.

Heeseung and Jungwon were avoiding each other like plague. Well, mostly Jungwon. Heeseung was trying to find out a way to talk to Jungwon, but former couldn't even look at the latter in eye. Every encounter was an awkward feast to be honest. And Sunghoon, who was anxious about the future, couldn't digest the fact that they were wasting time over this stuff instead of looking for a way to get out of the town.

Jay was watching Ara like a hawk, and Nicholas was following her like a puppy. There were rumors of them dating, and it was putting Jay on the edge. Jay, on edge, meant destruction. He was thinking from dick, not brain. It was painful for Sunghoon to see his friend going bonkers over the girl he supposedly hated. Bullshit at its best.

Then there was Niki, who was keeping an eye on Ayame for some reason. He was at least sensible in Sunghoon's eyes. Niki was the one who was warning them about getting out of the town. He was studying stuff with Sooyun, and apparently things weren't looking very best in their favor.

They needed to leave immediately.

"Sunghoon."

He paused. His throat wobbled. And then, there was Sunoo. Sunghoon, even if didn't feel bloodthirst, he felt attracted towards the guy like a moth towards a flame. "Where are you heading to?" Sunghoon asked, and Sunoo smiled. Sunghoon's dead heart fluttered and he gulped before reaching out to cup Sunoo's cheek. "There was dust there," he mumbled, caressing the soft skin as he stared deep into the latter's eyes.

"Library." Sunoo looked away, breaking the eye contact. "I'll see you later."

"I'll come with you." Sunghoon started following him. They sat on the ground, in between the shelves. Sunoo opened an English textbook and started reading. Sunghoon studied Sunoo's face in return. He watched as Sunoo yawned after a couple of minutes of the session and then fell asleep. "Stupid human," he whispered as he watched Sunoo sleeping there on the ground, his back against the bookshelf.

Sunghoon stared at him and dropped his gaze to Sunoo's lips. Blood rushed to the lower part of his body. God. Oh God save him. He found this guy out of the world beauty. Sunghoon's finger lingered on Sunoo's lower lip and the latter stirred. His eyes fluttered open, and he froze when saw Sunghoon's body hovering over him.

"What are you doing?" Sunoo's voice sounded cold to Sunghoon's ears, yet this haze couldn't make him doubt in the sudden change of his tone even if he wanted to.

Sunghoon was far too gone. He just wanted to... do something. Do anything to quench the thirst he was feeling. It was no blood lust, but something else. It was craving for someone's heat. For someone. For Sunoo.

"Sunghoon, what are you doing?" Sunoo's hands held Sunghoon's shoulders as his eyes widened. Sunghoon realised he had leaned too close to the guy. "I think I should go." Sunoo tried to smile and push him away gently.

But, alas. The ice prince wasn't having it. Sunghoon grabbed both of his hands and pushed them on the ground above his head. "I'll kiss you now. Just once. Okay?" He breathed out, feeling lightheaded. Sunoo's scent was like a witchcraft for him. Too strong. Too addicting. Too hard to resist.

On the other side, Sunoo was panicking inside. He had known this moment would come. Given what Sunghoon was to Sunoo, of course the chemistry was too strong. Of course, Sunghoon would feel this unexplainable need to claim Sunoo, but there was a drawback. Sunoo didn't want it. He didn't want Sunghoon. In fact, he hated Sunghoon. The guy might not remember what he had done but Sunoo did. He remembered everything.
