I'm slowly making my comeback, it'll mean a lot to me if you guys can leave comments :)
"I literally can not pretend anymore." Jake fumed, walking off the dance floor and smacked his shoulder against Jungwon's as he literally ran away from the hall.
Jungwon sighed, and went to Sooyun who was glaring, clearly pissed by something Jake had done. "I'm not getting in between you guys." He surrendered his arms up.
"No one asked you to," Sooyun bit out.
Jungwon chuckled. "Woof." Wrapping his arms around her waist, he pulled her closer, swaying slowly to the music. "Did you do my work?" He whispered against her ear, his eyes staring at K who was sipping his wine casually.
"Yes, it's ready." She casually slipped a long red thread into his hands as he twirled her around, only for her to collide with K who had come on the dance floor now. He grabbed her by waist when she tried to leave, pushing her to dance with him. "What the fuck do you think you're doing?" she asked K. Jungwon gave her salute and walked away. She cursed the leader under her breath. Selfish bastard.
"Dancing." K smirked when she struggled against him. "Fisty. I like it," he said, leaning impossibly close to her. "You know very well of our hearing ability which is why you were whispering close to Jungwon. So my dearest witch, would you be so kind to tell me about your little secrets?"
"No." Sooyun again pushed him away, or at least tried to, but gasped when he tightened his hold. "K, you're making me uncomfortable. You're crossing your limit." She froze when he flexed his hand on her waist, and tucked a hair strand behind her ear.
His entire being felt threatening at that moment. "I'm just warning you. If you didn't stop helping them, I'll cross limits with you. And not in a moral way, so step back little witch before I do something neither of us will appreciate."
Her heart beat against her chest loudly. "Fuck off."
"Gladly." K stepped away, and she tried not to run as she took measured steps and walked off the floor.
Sunghoon was staring at Sunoo when he was pulled away from the space and in a daze, pushed into another room.
"There there." Jungwon wrapped the threat around Sunghoon's wrist. "Now, you'll be under control. No blood lust for you my boy."
"It won't guarantee no lust though." Niki made a peace sign when Sunghoon snarled at him.
"The little witch did her work." Jungwon grinned at Jake who was sulking in the corner. "I promised her a fancy date with you in exchange of this." Jake paled visibly and the leader let out an evil laugh. "Chill. I didn't. Now, off you go. Shooo shoo."
The boys left. Heeseung didn't. He stared at Jungwon curiously. "You don't trust Sunoo, do you?"
"I feel like he's too good to be true. Or maybe I just don't admire how he looks like the sun shits on him daily basis."
"Jungwon. Come on." Heeseung shook his head. "You kept an eye on Sunoo the whole time. You wanted to know if he'll intentionally trigger Sunghoon or not. You think there's more to him than we see. But, it's not like that. He's just another kid, and if the prophecy is true, and indeed we've to sacrifice him, then I feel pity instead of doubt. He seems harmless."
"I'm the leader. You said you would let me be, so trust my instincts and decisions." Jungwon walked past him to the hall where the party was going on. He watched Jay carefully, his eyes... they were on Ara. Jungwon suddenly felt Deja Vu.
He had seen this film before, and no, he didn't like the ending.
"Don't you dare take a step further," Jungwon whispered, throwing an arm around Jay's shoulder casually. He stiffened. "I've forgiven you one time. Hid your stupidity from everyone, but not this time. Ara is not for you."
