A/N Hello My Amazing readers! So far we have only seen Ahsoka's and Rex's perspective. BTW if you were wondering Ahsoka's at the temple on archive duty cause she pranked Master Windu. NOOOOW ITS TIME FOR THE ONE... THE ONLY... KIX! Say aye if you love Kix.

-------------------------------- -------------------------------------------

One moment he was securing his medical supplies so they wouldn't get jostled around from the ship taking hits, the next moment a panicked Anakin ran into the med bay and screaming "KIX!" Anakin had been moving too fast for him to fully know what was in his arms, but when he slowed to a stop in front of Kix he realized why he was yelling. At this point Anakin was so crazed he was talking gibberish. "GET REX TO A BED NOW!" Kix yelled, highly concerned for the bleeding captain. At this point, Rex's whole leg was covered in blood, and what was worse, was that it was still coming out. Anakin was rushing Rex to a bed, still saying incomprehensible gibberish. "Rex! Stay awake! Come on!" Kix said desperately as he started removing the armor near the wound. As cut a hole in Rex's blacks so he could treat the wound he realized Rex had gone limp. He was still breathing, but not well. He cleaned the blood off to see the extent of the damage and it ended up being much worse than he thought. The wound was a large cut down his leg. It would require stitches. He stitched up the cut, his hands getting bloodier with each stitch, but when he finally finished, Rex's condition wasn't improving much. He thought about putting Rex in a bacta tank, however... if the separatists took out the power... they took out the captain. He decided to risk it. He took the bed over to the bacta tank and started to make the preparations. Oxygen mask, Check, Diaper, Check. And with that Kix put Rex into the bacta tank, hoping for the best.

He turned around and was startled by the slightly less crazed Anakin. Now he had a question for him. "What. The. Kriff." Kix asked in the calm voice that really meant 'you idiot'. "Well it turns out there was a rather angry rathtar." Anakin said, the well being in a higher pitched voice as if he was a child trying to explain what happened to his mom's favorite vase. Kix's eyes widened at the General's words. "I found Rex cornered by the ugly creature. I got there as soon as I could. But... It scratched him pretty hard before I could kill it. I realized Rex's leg was bleeding so I carried him here." Kix sighed, putting his hand over his face and shaking his head in exasperation. Why did he always have to deal with this bantha crap. "Alright. So there is no guarantee Rex will survive this. He's strong, but whether he's strong enough to survive this craziness, will go unanswered for a while." Anakin frowned. As far as Kix could tell, he was thinking about something that he didn't want to happen. "Sir?" Kix asked. "Huh." Anakin twitched, as if he had forgotten Kix was there. "I know that it might not be something you want to share, however I can tell you're thinking, and I am curious about what." Kix asked.

Anakin sighed. "You're not gonna leave me alone unless I tell you, are you?"

"No sir probably not." Kix replied very matter of-a-factly.

"Fine. But this information is not something you can tell everybody about, alright?"

"I understand. What you say will not leave this room." What could be so secret he would be cautious to tell it to me? I have saved his life a bunch of times. Kix thought.

"Good. I guess you can know." Anakin took a breath in. "You might have noticed how Ahsoka's been following Rex around lately."

"Yes. It's been rather confusing."

"Well, it turns out she has feelings for Rex."

"What kind of 'feelings'?" Kix asked, even though he already knew the answer.

"Romantic feelings..." Anakin replied, seeming to regret saying it out loud.

"I'm not entirely sure how to respond to that sir." Kix said honestly.

"If Rex died, I don't know what she would do."

"Well then I will just have to make sure I keep him alive then." Anakin smiled slightly at Kix's words.

"Just don't tell anybody. OK?"

"You can trust me."

"I hope so."

Suddenly the machines that checked on Rex's status beeped. Both Kix and Anakin whipped around, dashing towards it. Kix checked the machine. Rex's pulse was slowing. Kix looked over to Anakin who now had his eyes closed. Anakin squinted, a frown deepening. When Anakin opened his eyes Kix realized a liquid was at the edges of Anakin's eyes. Tears. Kix stared back at the machine, unsure of what to do. "Get him out of there." Anakin managed to say. "But sir-"

"Do it." Anakin said stubbornly.

I hope he has a plan. Kix thought before draining the liquid and removing Rex from the tank. They set him onto stretcher and Anakin pressed his hands to Rex's wound. Anakin closed his eyes and Kix watched as he lost his energy. As Anakin got weaker and weaker, Rex's wound healed more and more. Out of nowhere, Anakin went limp and collapsed. Rex was alright. But with one problem solved, another appeared. Kix picked up the general over his shoulder and brought him over to a bed in another room. He plugged in the machines to check Anakin's vitals. Kix sighed with relief when he saw the results. He was fine, just tired. Kix then realized he had forgotten Rex. He ran back over to the stretcher Rex was on and checked his vitals as well. He was okay as well. Great. He moved Rex onto a bed and hooked him up to an iv that would help him recover. Everything was good again, right? Wrong. The ship shook again, this time harder. The lights flickered. Then, it was darkness.

Suddenly he felt very claustrophobic. "This is great." He said to no one. "I guess it's time to turn on the helmet light." Kix hated blackouts. Besides the fact that he was afraid of the dark, he couldn't see his patients. If he couldn't see his patients, then he couldn't treat them. Kix used to get picked on by his batchmates for being afraid of the dark. Some of the Kaminoans even wanted to scrap him. If it weren't for Nala Se he wouldn't be here. She gave him a small lothcat plushie, the perfect thing to comfort him. He still had it in the barracks, hiding it under his pillow. He was surprised none of his Vod had found it. He was glad they hadn't, if they did, he would never live it down. He was snapped out of his thoughts when he heard the door open. "Who's there?!" He said, pulling out his blaster and trying to keep the shakiness out of his voice. "Woah Kix calm down." Said a familiar voice. They all had the same voice, however each had something different about it. This one, was intelligent and reasonable. Echo. He lowered his blaster. "Sorry vod, I thought you were a clanker or something."

"A clanker? Really? Are you sure you weren't scared I was some kind of monster?" Echo teased.

"I'm disappointed in you for teasing me." Kix replied, attempting to pretend that Echo wasn't completely right.

"Aha! You were scared!" Echo said pointing at Kix like he had made a scientific discovery.

"Why would you think that?"

"Kix you're a terrible liar."

"Fine, your right. But you better not tell Fives!"

"Don't worry, I'm not that cruel."

Kix sighed in relief. "What did you come here for?"

"Power's out."

"I can see that."

"Which means life support is gone as well."

"Crap."

"Also have you seen the General and Captain?"

"Unfortunately, yes."

Kix led Echo to the area where both Rex and Anakin were laying unconscious. "Great. Just great. We are missing both of our leaders, the power is out, Fives and the others have already lost multiple fighters, and life support is down." Kix sighed at Echo's angry rant.

"Tell me something I don't know." Kix said, getting annoyed by his brother.

"Well I guess we just figure it out."

Sorry for the amount of dialog. Not entirely sure what I'm gonna do next, but I will write as best I can. This chapter is not great but I will try to do better next time. May the force be with you!
