Hello again guys and gals (and everything in between)! I'm excited for this chapter because it's where we start seeing some bigger feelings between Rex and Ahsoka. Anyways, enjoy!
Shout out to Frost15534! He was the first person (who wasn't myself) to vote my chapters!

Ahsoka ran through the halls, almost hitting the wall at each corner. She couldn't lose them. Never. They were her people. She loved them. Anakin like a big brother, and Rex... In a way she didn't know how to describe. All she knew was that they were hers. The reasonable part of her brain told her that Kix is an amazing medic and they're probably fine, the irrational part of her brain said otherwise. It said she had to get there and that they could disappear whenever. She arrived at the medbay, not caring that she was panting like a lothwolf. She only cared about getting to them. She almost ran into Kix, who seemed completely calm. See they're perfectly fine.
"Hey Ahsoka. I'm guessing you're here to see Rex and Anakin?" He said, looking up from his datapad with a smile.
"Yes, do you mind taking me to them?" She requested, just now realizing she didn't know where they were.
"I don't mind. Follow me." Kix replied, leading her towards the back of the room. Ahsoka followed, her anxiety poking at her the whole time. Kix opened a door, gesturing for her to walk in. Ahsoka complied.
When she walked into the area she saw two medical beds against the wall, each with a person she had been searching for. "Rex!" She ran to his bedside. She turned around to look at the medic." Kix. What. Happened." An underlying threat in her voice.
The smile faded from Kix's face and turned into a slightly annoyed frown. "Apparently a rathtar somehow got into the ship and injured Rex. He bled out and Anakin decided to heal him until he passed out." Kix said, obviously annoyed with his higher-ups.
"Will they be okay though?" Ahsoka asked.
"Rex was hurt the worst." Ahsoka's anxiety rose and her head whipped back to the 501st captain, as if to make sure he hadn't disappeared in the few seconds she looked away. "He's stable for now, but only time will tell. He may not fully heal." Now that Ahsoka looked closer she could faintly see the stitches along Rex's leg.
"I'll leave you alone for now. Let me know if they wake up or anything bad happens. And no force healing! I don't want to set up yet another medical bed." Kix commanded.
"Technically I'm higher in command so I can do whatever I want." Ahsoka said sassily.
"As your medic I rank higher than you in this area of expertise." Kix replied, annoyed by her stubbornness. "I also know where you sleep and know which bones are the most painful when broken."
"Fine Kix. I won't force heal." Ahsoka said with an exaggerated eye roll. And with that, Kix went back to smiling and walked out. Kix is scary. She sat down on a chair next to Rex's bed and looked at his handsome facial features. His blond hair, its short strands giving her the urge to run her hand through it, his thick lashes, usually hard to see since he was usually running around giving orders, his lips. Only slightly darker than the rest of his skin, thin and kind, even while unconscious. What would they feel and taste like? She could find out right now. It's not like anybody would see. No. She can't think like that. She thought, scolding herself and struggling to keep her curiosity in check.
"Are you done staring at Rex's face yet Ahsoka?" Ahsoka's body jumped, startled by the sound of Obi-wan's voice. "Uh, I was just uh, checking if he was injured on his face." She said with a nervous smile. She hadn't even heard him walk in. I'm lucky I didn't act on those urges, she thought.
"Sure Ahsoka, sure." Obi-wan said. "That reminds me about what I need to talk to you about." Ahsoka calmed her face, despite her fear, and turned to look in Obi-wan's direction. She could faintly see him leaning in the doorway with her predators eyes and the reddish glow of the emergency lights. He slowly walked in and sat on the end of Anakin's bed. Ahsoka used the force to close the door.
"Ahsoka." Obi-wan sighed. "At one point I had the same feelings as you... I had fallen in love as well, but, you're a jedi, Ahsoka. You know you can't have those feelings"
Ahsoka looked at the floor, avoiding Obi-wan's gaze. "If not for me then for Rex." She looked up, shocked about what he was implying.
"You're going to tell the council if I don't stop, aren't you?" She said accusingly.
"Ahsoka, I have to. I don't want this to get worse. It could get Rex court marshaled and reconditioned."
Ahsoka's eyes narrowed. "You're threatening me. If you tell the council about Rex you won't just be punishing me, you'll be punishing Rex too. I thought you were all about not letting others become collateral damage." Her voice became more predatory and accusing with each word.
"Ahsoka-" Obi-wan tried to say before Ahsoka interrupted him.
"If you care about our friendship in the slightest, I recommend you keep quiet." She finished.
Obi-wan was stunned for a moment before becoming angry and yelling at her. "I have always cared about our friendship! That's why I'm doing this! If my relationship had been stopped earlier then maybe I wouldn't still be in pain from it..." His eyes became glassy and heartbroken. "All I ever wanted was to do what was best for you and Anakin, you're like my children..." A single tear fell down his face.
Ahsoka's eyes softened and she walked over to sit beside Obi-wan. He avoided her eyes. "Master, you have been doing the best for us for a long time." She looked at him before continuing. "Right now, what's best is to let me have this. Let me be free for a bit, if only just a little bit. Rex doesn't know either. It's okay. Just let me have Rex." Obi-wan me her eyes before letting out a sigh. "Alright Ahsoka, I'll let you have this. I'll give you some tips on secrecy. I'm sorry for threatening you. You're lucky these two are heavy sleepers, I've had to pour water on Anakin a couple times." He said in a lighter voice, smiling and making a joke to lighten the mood. She smiled back.
"Yeah I suppose it is a good thing."
