Hi people! So I think this chapter is gonna be adorable but I'm gonna let you decide. Do you like the fluff happening right now? Btw Din's voice or Rex's voice? Gotta say Din because he's got that deep gruff voice. Also please ignore the age difference between them and pretend Ahsoka is a bit older. ANYWAYS you're probably tired of me talking like this. Time for a chocolate bar and some switchfoot-

She moved her supposedly cold hands up Rex's back and felt him shiver. She started to firmly rub his shoulders and felt his muscular body go limp as he fell asleep with a sigh. She smiled softly as the lights came back on. She flicked the light switch off with the force, not wanting to disturb Rex's peaceful sleep. By this point he had slouched and his head was in her lap. She watched as he involuntarily snuggled closer. He's kriffing adorable when he sleeps. She looked at his blond hair and wondered what it would feel like. She had touched Anakin's hair before while he was sleeping, partly to see what would happen. She didn't have any hair of her own so she wanted to know what it felt like. Just a little touch. Nothing more. She quickly touched his hair and found out it was soft. Surely touching it a bit more won't hurt. She slowly moved her hand over the top of his hair and found that it was slightly spiky, not at all like Anakin's. Just a little more. She ran her hand through his blond hair. Her hand was on the top of his head when he started to move towards her touch. Her eyes widened. What- why-? He snuggled so close she wondered if he was even still sleeping. She closed her eyes and looked around in the blackness for his force signature. It was calming and golden, warm like the sun, like a thick blanket on a cold day. She wanted to stay near it forever. His signature was even calmer since he was sleeping. Her body relaxed. She opened her eyes to find him curled up on her lap similar to a lothcat. What was even cuter was that he had this goofy smile on his face. She pulled the blankets up before beginning to gently stroke his back. Why does he have to be so cute? She smiled even more. After a while of her petting him, his face began to contort into one of sadness and pain. He started shaking, a tear falling down his face. "No don't leave! Stay with me! Don't die! No! Ahsoka!" He jerked awake, more tears falling down his face.
"Woah, Rex calm down, I'm here, I'm okay." She said gently, trying to calm him down. He started to sit up and she gently moved him so he was facing her, his legs wrapped around her waist. It was an awkward position since he was bigger than her, but he needed this. He needed her. "Rex, what happened?" She asked him in a quiet and kind voice.
"I h-had a n-nightmare." He stuttered. The brave soldier shivering from a nightmare. This must have been a bad one.
"Do you want to talk about it?" She asked him quietly.
"Yes." He sniffled. She waited for him to continue. "It was about you. You were running from something. I couldn't tell what it was. You tripped and it got you. I tried to help you but I couldn't, something wouldn't let me. Then you died, you were all broken and sad and... I couldn't do anything about it!" He said tears falling from his face.
"Ohhh, Rexy." She said, her eyes softening. She moved her hands to gently hold his face, staring into his sad, brown eyes. "You don't have to worry. I'm right here. I will always be here for you. I'm not going to leave you, not now, not ever." He's only 11.
"How do you know?" He looked at her with the face of a helpless boy and her eyes saddened. Tears stained his tear stained face, his eyes filled with fear and worry. She wrapped her arms around him, pulling him close.
"Because you're here. As long as you're here then I have something to fight for." she squeezed his waist, as him showing him she's real. "Rex. Look me in the eye." She said as his face started to turn away. He looked back into her eyes
"I will always fight for you Rex." She said, looking deep into his beautiful brown eyes.
He wrapped his arms around her, burying his face in her small shoulder, sobbing and pulling her closer, like a scared child. By the end he had his body wrapped around hers, falling asleep again. She stroked his head and yawned before laying down, pulling the thin white blankets up and pulling Rex close to her body, his breath hitting her montrals with a tingling sensation. She snuggled so their bodies were pressed together before closing her eyes and whispering, "Good night Rexter." As soon as the words had left her mouth she fell into a deep sleep, his presence a comforting warmth.
~Anakin's POV~
He woke to the sound of blankets being moved. He attempted to go back to sleep, thinking nothing of it, until he heard a sleepy, "Good night Rexter." Anakin jolted up, his eyes flashing open. He looked towards Rex's bed, impure thoughts littering his mind. Ahsoka and Rex wouldn't do that, right? He quickly got out of bed, only allowing his legs a second to wake up. He walked firmly to Rex's bed with his fists clenched, his big brother instincts kicking in. What he found there was... surprisingly cute and disarming. Rex was curled protectively around Ahsoka, his chin on her montrals. Rex's arms held Ahsoka's body against him tightly, her arms covering his instinctively. Rex's arms tightened around Ahsoka as Anakin came closer. Was Rex awake? Anakin checked Rex's force signature, he was definitely asleep. It must be his years of being a soldier. Anakin sighed and decided that he trusted Rex with his padawan but that they would be having a talk about limits.
Just then he felt a hand on his shoulder and instinctively reached for his lightsaber. It wasn't there so as he spun around so he looked pretty stupid with his hand reached out. Kix looked at him with his hands on his hips, amused. "So you finally noticed the two lovebirds?" Kix whispered.
"Hard not to." Anakin said rather loudly, not taking Kix's hint. Rex and Ahsoka stirred as Kix dragged Anakin out of the room by the ear and shut the door.
"If you wake those two I will break every bone in your body." Kix threatened.
"Why, are you worried your ship will be destroyed?" Anakin said, a stupid smile on his face. That smile was wiped off immediately as Kix injected a sleeping medication into his exposed hand. "Kix youu tratorrr." Anakin slurred as the medication took effect. "Sweet dreams di'kut." Kix said, shaking his head before picking up Anakin over his shoulder and carrying him to a different room.
~Kix's POV~
"Sweet dreams di'kut." Kix told one of his most annoying patients. Before Anakin could fall to the floor Kix picked him up over his shoulder and walked to another room. Better separate them before Anakin wakes up the others. He sighed in annoyance. "Jedi..." Kix set Anakin down on a bed in the corner before walking away to continue the boring part of his job. As he was taking inventory of his medical supplies, he felt a jerk as the ship went into hyperspace. Finally, we can get back to solid ground. He tried working again, but gave up after a few seconds and decided to check on his patients.
He quietly opened the door to Ahsoka and Rex's room and found them peacefully sleeping in a funny position. Maybe I should snap a quick photo of these two. Luckily his camera had no flash. After he left the room he stared at it for a bit. Ahsoka was splayed out on top of Rex with his arm over her. She was getting his blacks slightly wet with the saliva dripping from her fanged open mouth. Rex somehow ended up having one of Ahsoka's lekku in his mouth. How they found this comfortable, Kix would never know. What he did know, was that these two are karking adorable. I suppose I am shipping them. If there was one thing he got from this, it was to never show Fives this picture. If he did that, he would either die of second hand embarrassment, or die from Ahsoka, Rex, and Anakin. He buried the picture deep in his desk, hoping that no one would find it.

So? How cute are they? While writing this I was getting these fan girl feelings inside me so yeah. I hope that happened to you as well. More fluff will come soon. Also Rex's reaction to waking up like that will be absolutely hilarious. Do you want me to put this in audio book form? ALSO WEEKLY UPDATES EVERY SATURDAY AND MAYBE SOME OTHER TIME IN THE WEEK!!!!!!
