I was sat eating my food while watching my surroundings. Ain't no nigga brave enough to play wit me but I always had to make sure.
"You that Blade nigga?" A voice said next to me
"Who askin'?" I turned to look at them
It was some older nigga I recognized from the hood I grew up in. Last I heard, he been in and out of jail for the last five years.
"My fault, wus good witchu?" I dapped him up
"Ain't shit." He shrugged
"Been in this bitch for over a year now, got transferred from my last prison for bad behavior. You know what typa timin' I'm on already." He chuckled
"They said I made the COs nervous or sum shit." He added
"What your name is again?" I asked
"Banga. That's what they call me in the streets anyway." He replied
"Oh yeahhh, you the OG that put us young niggas on when we was tryna come up." I said remembering
"What can I say?" He grinned, showing off his permanent grill
Back when me and the guys was some young, popped niggas wit no money, this the guy that put us on to selling. Him and his crew basically taught us everything we know for real.
"Ay listen, you need anything in here, I gotchu muddy." He dapped me up again
"And if you need anything when you get out, hit my line." I said honestly
"Bet."
"Inmate Carter, you have a visitor." A guard came up to me
"Who?" I asked
"A woman and a young boy." He replied
I put my arms out for him to cuff my wrists and stood up, leaving out of the general population area. We walked up the stairs towards the visitation space and he stopped me before I went it.
"No touching." He stared at me
"No promises." I smirked
He opened the door and I looked around before spotting Emani and Amir sitting at a table in the corner. I sat down with them and another guard took my cuffs off.
"Y'all straight?" I asked them
"Nah nigga, is you straight?" Amir asked causing me to chuckle
