Wendy was such a sweetheart about the whole situation, reminding me of the sky dragon slayer. Much to my assumption, I was correct. She was even kind enough to heal some of the wounds that I arrived with. No questions asked, just a smile on her lips. Her cat Carla even comforted me as Wendy worked her healing magic. It felt nice to have people to talk to, especially kindhearted people like these two.

"(Y/n)," Nastu calls my name. "You want to fight?"

"I'm sorry?" I question the male, confused about what he was asking.

"I want to see what kind of magic you use, so let's fight."

"She isn't ready," Mira intervenes nervously. "She just got here, so give her some time to adjust to the guild."

"Fine, but when you are done adjusting (Y/n) you better watch out. We are going to fight!"

"My money is on the girl," Elfman shouts out. "She looks so manly!"

Natsu rolled up his sleeves at the male, cursing under his breath. They were about to start their own fight but the doors to the guild doors opened up, causing the room to get a tad bit colder. Like at the drop of a needle, the room dropped a few degrees. Everyone stops in their tracks as they watch the person come in, a broken look on their face as they close the door behind them.

"Oi! Gray! About time you got back," Natsu shouts. "Fight me! I want to fight someone!"

Natsu runs at Gray with a fist full of fire, but Gray quickly uses some sort of ice magic to push him away.

"What's got you down my love?" the water-mage Juvia asks.

"I was just coming home from a job when I decided to stop and get some food. There were a group of guys in there rubbing our name through the dirt. I'm getting sick and tired of us being so weak, we used to be the top guild." Gray curses to the world, clearly upset. "We come back after seven years and people think we aren't that same guild now!"

"Life went on for those seven years while you guys were gone," Jet reminds the male. "We couldn't hold our own, and now you guys are paying for it. I'm sorry."

"I know a way we can get the top spot again!" A little boy shouts, face lighting up at the thought.

"Romeo!" Macao shouts. "Now is not the time boy!"

"What is he talking about?" Erza demands.

Droy shakes his head as he responds, "It was the most humiliating thing."

"It's a contest of the strongest wizards called the Grand Magic Games! Guilds put teams together to battle it out in an arena! That is how Sabertooth took the top spot! They won every year!" Romeo says with a smile.

"And we lost every year, making a fool out of ourselves!"

"We have our most powerful wizards back now! We can finally have a chance of winning the top spot of the most powerful guild back!"

"But we were gone for seven years! We are seven years behind all the other wizards!" Lucy shouts out beside me. Curiosity is written all over her face as she looks at her friends.

"How long until the games?" Master asks the younger boy.

"Three months!" Romeo smiles bigger.

"We will be entering the grand magic games, we will claim our spot back at the top. I want everyone to train for the next three months. Meet back here in three months with reports of your journey and I will make the team that will be entering the games."

"I will not be a part of the games!" Jet shouts, getting up to his feet. "I've had nightmares for weeks after every game."

Max stands up too, "This will make us the laughingstock of the century! As per usual."

"Have some faith children," Master turns to them with a smile. "Doesn't hurt to try!"

Everyone around me smiles as they look among themselves, hope filling their eyes. It was a nice sight to see, other faces with happiness on their faces. Hope that they can achieve their dreams.
