Natsu. Erza. Gray. Wendy. Lucy. All five opponents are going to be representing the Fairy Tail guild. Five people that I have come to really like between my first day here to today. Crocus was a beautiful city, a perfect city to hold such a large event. To be fair it is also where the capitol is, so It makes sense a historic city would hold such an important event. Many people far and near will be here for the games.

"It's beautiful," I whisper, admiring the city in front of me.

"I know!" Lucy nudges me. "This is just a small piece of the city too! We get to explore so much more"

I tagged along with the competitors, only because Lucy begged Master if I could hang out with her before the games began. She gave him the puppy dog look and he couldn't say no. It will be nice to have her by my side in such a big city, there are a lot of things in the world that I missed out on.

"We have to be at our hotel at midnight, it is the rules of the games. Until then you are free to explore," Erza tells her teammates, waving them off.

"Sounds good to us. We will be back at midnight," Natsu shouts out before running away with Happy trailing behind.

"There was a bakery just down that way," Erza points down a road. "I will be there if anyone needs me."

Her eyes shone bright with excitement as she turns and walks away. There was a trail of glitter basically behind her with every step she took to the bakery. That woman and her cake, nothing must come in between those two.

"Carla and I are going to take a tour of the king's castle" Wendy smiles.

"Be back at midnight, don't forget!" Lucy reminds the child.

Wendy nods with excitement as she runs away towards the castle, her best friend quickly trailing behind. This left Lucy, Gray, and I, but we girls knew where we wanted to go. Lucy mentioned how there were a few shopping malls. We spoke on the train here about how I wanted to find an outfit I could fight in. Lucy thought it was an honor to have that conversation with me, and told me that she would help me in any way she could.

"Gray?" I ask the male. "What are your plans?"

"You girls go have fun," he smiles. "I was thinking of just heading to the hotel early and relaxing a bit."

"Or you could hang out with me," Juvia walks up to our group. 

"Oh hey Juvia," I greet her.

"(Y/n)," the woman nods in my direction. "So? My love?"

"We should get going," Lucy pulls me away. "Precious time is leaving as we speak."

Once we were in the direction of the shops, Lucy lets go of me. I take this time to talk to the blonde, "How long have Gray and Juvia been dating?"

Lucy laughs hard, "They aren't. Oh my goodness they are not."

"But she calls him love."

"Yeah, but that doesn't matter. She has this huge crush on him and he despises her. I think it's because she tried so hard to get anything from the poor guy. Why do you ask?"

"No reason, I was just wondering."

"Sure (Y/n)."

Lucy and I smile as we hold the many bags from our successful shopping trip. She has good taste when it comes to clothes, so I trust her opinion. Our plan was to get an outfit I could use as battle gear, and we did just that. Plus more than what I was expecting. I showed up to the guild with just the clothes on my back, so Lucy insisted I get clothes that felt like me. Since I have been using donated clothes from all the girls in the guild.

Our giggling stopped when we heard shouting. Quickly we turn on our heels and head in the direction of people shouting. As much as we hated to see it, seems like Natsu already got himself in a fight. Who would have guessed the hotheaded wizard from fairy tail got in a fight before the games even started, not me! Lucy hands me her bags before standing next to Natsu, looking at the two people in front of them.

"Natsu," Lucy shouts, eyes trained on the men in front of her. "what is going on?"

"These smarty-pants think that they could have beaten Acnologia all by themselves. Claiming they are dragon slayers themselves," Natsu growls.

"Third-generation dragon slayers," The blonde male in front of Natsu laughs. Blending in the crowd I sniff the air a little bit, using my freaky power to see who they are.

"What does that even mean?" Lucy asks the male. 

Weisslogia, the dragon of light. So this is the white dragon slayer. 

"Third generation means we have dragon lacrimas inside us. We slaughtered our dragons to gain our title," the blonde smiles, angering Natsu. "Gaining the title of a true dragon slayer."

"You killed your dragons? But they were your parents! They taught you everything!" Natsu started yelling.

Picking up on another scent my eyes land on the person next to Weisslogia, another dragon slayer, I suppose. I tried to get closer, but my eyes caught the unknown slayer's eyes. His eyes glowed a deep red as he looked down at me, his eyebrow curling up in confusion.

"Natsu," Lucy whispers, glancing at the clock above us. "It's almost midnight."

The gaze me and the male held were torn apart as Lucy pushes me away from the crowd, towards the hotel she is going to be staying at for the games. Who is he? I wish I wasn't caught, then I would know who he is.

"You're late," Erza yells from the front of the hotel. Her foot was tapping against the ground in an annoyed manner as she stared at us.

"We ran into the twin dragon slayers," Natsu curses under his breath.

"And?"

"Cocky, claiming they are going to win this year."

"Is Wendy with you guys?" Gray asks, popping his head out of the hotel.

"No? I thought she was with you."

"She went to tour the castle," I respond. "She is with Carla, hopefully, she is okay."

"It's almost midnight," Lucy says nervously.

"(Y/n), you need to fill in if Wendy isn't here by midnight," Erza demands.

"w-what?" I stutter out.
