You sat next to the bed Lucy lay in, watching her chest rise and fall with each breath she took. Wendy was in bed next to Lucy, still asleep. it pained me to see them like this, they didn't deserve this. All at the hands of Ravin Tail. They are going to pay for what they did, no matter what. Whether it be by me or someone else from the guild.
"(Y/n)?" Lucy asks, waking up.
"How are you feeling?" I ask the blonde.
"Better now that I got some rest."
"Good, you were asleep for some time."
"What's happening, did I miss the games?"
"Well, it's day two of the Games. Right now Natsu is playing in the game called Chariot."
"Doesn't Chariot mean-"
"He is so sick right now, yes. You would think he would know what chariot means."
Lucy laughs as she gets up out of the bed. I try to hold on to her, but she swats my hand away, mentioning how she doesn't need help. She glances over at the little blue-haired girl before leaving the room. Quickly I get up to follow her, taking the route to where the team was. Everyone's faces light up when they see that Lucy was well enough to watch the game. Personally, I think she should still be in bed, but she would fight against me.
While Erza and Lucy talk I take a step closer to the railing, looking closer at what was happening on the battlefield. Natsu, Gajeel, and Sting (who I learned the name of from Mira) all were in the back of the group dealing with motion sickness. It was sorta embarrassing watching my two favorite dragon slayers almost puke during an important match. So much for making Fairy Tail powerful again.
Gray found his way next to me, shaking his head at the scene in front of us. Even after the events the day before we found it kind of funny. Seeing the all mighty powerful dragon slayers in their weakest state. It was amusing, to say the least. It made me happy to see Gray back to his usual self, seeing him sad makes me feel so bad.
From our view up in the stand, it looks like the trio was talking through their puky faces. I couldn't make out what they are saying from the sound of the chariot's wheels turning. But from the looks of it, Sting was surprised, whatever Fairy Tail was saying to him looks very shocking. Leave it to Natsu to have a speech.
Natsu and Gajeel claim a spot in the race, leaving Sting with coming in last. It surprised me to see him give up a game so easily, I thought Sabertooth was the most powerful guild there is. Shrugging I watch as Gajeel and Natsu high-five each other before heading back to the respected teams.
"A point is better than nothing," Gray says out loud. "Who would have guessed it was from a motion-sickness dragon slayer."
As Erza gives a lecture to Natsu, my eyes wander. Just beyond Fairy Tail Team B, I see Sabertooth. Their team stood stone-cold as the crowd chanted their name. To them they didn't even acknowledge the support they had in the crowd, making me a bit upset. Even though Fairy Tail doesn't have much support right now, we still acknowledge the few people we have. It's an honor that people chant our name.
"Looks like it's one v ones now," Gray says once again.
"Is it random?" I ask, turning towards him.
"I think so."
"I hope I don't get chosen."
"I hope you do soon, I want to know what you have in store for us. Not that I am like totally making bets on what it is."
"And?"
"And what?"
"What do you think it is? Only Mira and her siblings know, maybe even Master."
