Waking up I see everyone from the guild staring back at me, concerned looks on their faces. Lucy was quick to my side, helping me sit up. At first, I was just waking up, the next I remembered my fight with Minerva. Flashbacks of the first battle I was a part of in the games. Well, it wasn't much of a fight, it was an embarrassment. Stretching my body I take note of the pain I had, which wasn't much. Wendy must have used her magic on me because I was sure I would be in a lot more pain.

"I'm sorry," I tell everyone as I place my face in my hands.

"For what?" Natsu asks. "Why are you apologizing?"

"For losing."

"You got us second place, I don't think that is anything to be sorry for. We got 8 points in that round."

"Look," Erza speaks up. "We aren't going to let those guys get away with what they did to you."

"I want a rematch, someplace on land where it is fair," I say through tears. 

"You are a water dragon slayer, how cool is that! We have another dragon slayer in the guild!" Wendy smiles.

"I won the bet," Natsu smiles.

"I would hold out on that," Mira responds with a smile. "After the games, okay?"

"Fine."

Master came into the infirmary with a sad look on his face, that was until he noticed I was awake. He sends me a nod before looking at everyone else in the room.

"Master," Cana greets.

"There is some bad news," he tells us. "The game organizers want us to combine the two teams together to make one. There is something about how there are uneven teams for matchmaking. We are unfortunately only allowed to keep the lower score. Day four has come to an end but will pick up right where we left off tomorrow."

"So what are we going to do?" Mira asks.

"I am going to make a tough decision, but by tomorrow you guys will be notified of what happens. I want everyone to get a good night's sleep, okay?"

Everyone files out of the room beside me and Master. He finds a seat in the chair next to where I was lying, a sigh escapes his lips. At first, he was quiet, "How are you feeling?"

"Angry," I respond.

"I meant physically."

"Wendy used her healing magic on me I assume, so I feel so much better than earlier."

"That is good to hear. I wanted to ask you something, about your magic power...."

Grays Pov

Natsu, Erza, Happy, Lucy, and I decided to grab some food before heading to the hotel for the night. We were quiet most of the time, images of the last battle playing through our minds. I wish I would have nominated myself to be in the naval battle, then (Y/n) wouldn't have been hurt.

When I caught her after the match she was shaking. Either from pain or fear. She was unconscious, but subconsciously she was still afraid. Her body was battered and bruised, much to what she looked like when she first came to Fairy Tail. All I know is that I am going to avenge (Y/n), by any means necessary.

Your Pov-

Lacing up my shoes I hear people walking towards me. It was the next day after my naval battle, the referees wanted the games to pause so we could come up with a new team for Fairy Tail. Master notified the guild on who would be on that team and he outdone himself. I think. Well, I hope.

"I can't believe you want to fight," Erza grins as she walks up behind me. "Are you feeling well enough to fight?"

I smile, "I am here to avenge myself. Not let Sabertooth think they can make a joke out of me."

"I am serious (Y/n), once the boys find out you are here they might kill you themselves."

"Oh I will," Natsu says cracking his knuckles. "You should be in bed resting!"

Gray and Gajeel show up next, making the last of our team. They gave me concerned looks, but wiped it off once I said, "You want to know my real magic power, don't you?"

They all were quick to change their opinions once they heard that, with smiles on their faces. It also brought a smile to my face, it really made everyone's mood better. We walk towards the entrance of the arena, looking out at all the spectators and guild members. As the commentator greets the audience they start naming off the teams, that was until it came to us. Everyone makes me lead the pack as we walk out for the first time as a team. Sure Gajeel was the only replacement, but now there is only one fairy tail team. 

A grin comes to my face as people cheer for us, chanting our guild name. Glancing over at Sabertooth I see Minerva looking at us with a disgusted look, while Sting stared with excitement. 

"It is going to be 2 v 2 battles," Erza notifies us. "But only one person is chosen from each team, then that member gets to pick their partner."

Time goes on as we watch match after match. I am assuming that Fairy Tail is going to be paired up against Sabertooth, the final match of the day. Who would have guessed? Hours go by, then I hear the commentator shout the name Fairy Tail. I turn my ears on as I listen.

"Fairy Tails Natsu versus Sabertooth Stings!" 

Natsu grins as he turns to look at us. Gajeel slaps the males' back, "It's been a while since we teamed up."

"Huh?" Natsu asks, confused.

"You were obviously going to choose me, right?"

Natsu looks past the iron dragon slayer, eyes right at me. He laughs, "I think there is someone who wants a second try at Sabertooth."

"You might regret this, the girl is still injured."

Walking up to Gajeel I grab his shoulder, "Did you place a bet on my magic power?"

"Yeah, but I lost. You are a water dragon slayer."

"Mmm, not quite. what did you guess?"

"I guessed you were an imitation magic kinda person."

"Interesting. Natsu? Do you really want me to be your partner? Then let's go!"

A smile comes to the male's face, "I'm fired up now."

He gives me a fistbump with a bigger smile as we head out to the arena, quickly coming face-to-face with the twin dragon slayers from Sabertooth.
