Phayu has no idea what a mental hospital is or why his sweet boy thinks he is in one. Not all words translate well if there is no Salinific equivalent of the word. Sky says he thinks it means that finding out Phayu was a prince was just a step too far for Rain's human brain to comprehend.
Rain is now convinced that he has gone somewhere called "insane" and that Phayu, Pai and Sky are all "figments of his imagination".
Rain just sits in his room, refusing to acknowledge them.
This has gone on for two days and Phayu has had enough. They will be reaching home in a week and Rain must have some training on controlling his thoughts.
Phayu uses the keypad to unlock the door to Rain's room and goes to sit by his husband on the bed.
Rain stubbornly turns his head away looking anywhere but at Phayu.
"Rain, look at me." Phayu says.
Rain gives a small shake of his head, refusing.
"Fine," Phayu says, leaning in and kissing Rain on the neck.
Now Rain jerks his head around and stares at Phayu, "Phi, what are you doing?"
"I thought I wasn't real? If I am not real then this is all in your head." Phayu says, pushing Rain back on the bed and straddling him.
Phayu buries his head in Rain's neck, sucking leisurely at the sensitive spot he knows is right below Rain's ear. Rain gives a little moan and Phayu can't help but smirk.
He moves his hands down lightly and unbutton Rain's shirt, rubbing his hand down along Rain's chest, down lower until his fingers dip teasingly below the waistband of Rain's shorts.
An image comes to Rain's mind and Phayu almost groans with it. He croons in Rain's ear, "admit that I'm real and I will reward a good boy." His hand cups Rain's cock through his underwear, "or does your imagination normally feel like this?"
"Real," Rain gasps, trying to move his hips to get friction against Phayu's hand, but Phayu pulls away.
"What's that, sweet boy?" Phayu asks, now he is teasing a little.
"I said you're real." Rain whines, "please P'Phayu."
Phayu reaches into Rain's underwear this time, stroking his cock while bending down to kiss the boy. Rain bucks into his hand, cumming with a groan.
"Good boy, now that we have established that we are not figments of your imagination, why don't you take a shower and join us for dinner. No more hiding in this cabin, it's time for you to join us and start learning about your new home. Understand?"
Rain nods solemnly.
The topic of conversation at dinner is Rain's lessons on controlling his thoughts. Rain is very pointedly not thinking about what happened earlier. He remembers what happened in the training room and wants to avoid a repeat performance. He thinks he is succeeding when Sky looks at him out of the corner of his eyes and asks why he is mentally reciting different architectural styles over and over.
"No reason," Rain says, not quite meeting Sky's eyes.
Rain pokes his fork into a blue looking vegetable and something occurs to him, "Sky, some of the food here is the same as what we have on earth, why is that?"
"P'Phayu had it stocked especially for Cela, he thought after so many years on Earth he would have developed a taste for it. Earth is just one of the hundreds of planets we import food from." Sky says.
"Oh, cool, that was thoughtful of him." Rain mumbles while trying to ignore the little stab of unreasonable jealousy that it was done for Cela. After all, P'Phayu had thought at the time that he would be bringing Cela back and hadn't even known Rain existed.
