"Natcha," her father says sternly over the display screen. It doesn't mean she has done anything wrong; her parents never use any other tone with her. "Is the human still sleeping?"

"Yes, Father." Nat says.

"Very well, when he wakes, bring him to the location I am sending to you. Then send the location to Saifah and Phayu, instructing them to come alone. Our people will take care of the rest." Her father says.

She doesn't like the way that sounds. "We are just using Rain as a bargaining chip to gain the throne, right?" She asks, "That was the plan."

"Dear," this is her mother. The way she says the word without a hint of affection never fails to give Nat goosebumps. "Do you really think Phayu and Saifah will give up the throne for this boy? Even if they do, they could still pose a danger to us later. Best to remove the problem all together." Nat feels her blood run cold at those words.

By the time Rain wakes up, Nat has come to a decision. Although She has to be very careful her parents are suspicious of everyone and probably her most of all. They have always kept a close eye on their only child to make sure she didn't step out of line. Even now the two guards are watching her every move.

Rain comes around with a groan. He feels a little like he has the worst hangover in existence. His first thought is that he is never touching whatever he drank again. He groans again and clutches his head. Odd thing is he doesn't even remember drinking. The last thing he remembers is studying the architecture of some of the buildings in the city.

There is a woman sitting by his bed studying him as if he were an interesting experiment. She looks somehow familiar although Rain is sure he had never seen her before.

"Awake, human?" She says sarcastically, "Does the poor human have a headache?"

As she was speaking a voice invaded Rain's mind. try not to react, blink once if you can hear me.

Rain gave a single blink while saying, "Who are you?"

"Oh, did your husband not tell you about me? I am his cousin Natcha." She says. I'm sorry about invading your mind like this, it's necessary. I will try to get you out of here and back to Phayu but we have to be very careful.

She hands him a vial of liquid, "Here this will help with the headache."

"Why should I trust you?" He is asking both about the liquid and the voice inside his head.

She shrugs and says, "Do or don't, I don't care." I grew up with Yu and Fah, I don't want to see them hurt. My parents won't be satisfied if my cousins just abdicate. They have something worse in mind, something that would put our family's claim to the throne forward without doubt..

It's hard not to react to this, she is saying they plan to use him as bait to kill P'Phayu and P'Fah? To cover his horror, he grabs the vial and drains it. His head does immediately feel better.

"My parents want to see you." She says. Stay calm. I am going to try to get a message to Saifah.

"You, bring around the car," she says to one guard. Once he leaves, she says, "I will be right back."

The second guard makes a move as if to follow her, "What, going to watch me pee?" She asks with a disgusted look, "I am sure you would like that, but someone needs to watch him, genius." She nods towards Rain.

The guard looks uncertain for a moment then nods and resumes his position by the door.

When the guard turns his back she winks at Rain before leaving the room.
