Shiera Dayne came into the world in the warmth of 283 A.C., cradled by the sands of Starfall, in Dorne. Her parents, Allark Dayne and Alysanne Martell, painted her early days with a mix of light and shadow—her mother's death due to the tumult of Robert's Rebellion, her father's duties keeping him distant. Still, through childhood games and laughter with friends and maids, her heart intertwined with Starfall.
A turn at the age of ten led her from Starfall's familiar embrace to the stranger halls of Sunspear. There, Shiera found herself in the role of Lady Arianne Martell's confidante, a bond that nurtured both friendship and wisdom.
In Sunspear's embrace, each day held promise, until a letter from her father, Allark, arrived. It carried a call to the distant and unknown King's Landing, and the promise of new unfamiliar and dangerous paths. The bustling heart of the capital would soon greet her, bringing with it a cascade of unforeseen trials and triumphs, steering her away from the sun-kissed sands she knew so well.
This is a fan fiction for HBO's Game of Thrones. It is primarily focused on the television show, not the books. Not all events in this are true to the canon or TV show/books.
