TERRANCE
Arms and legs for days. I was wrapped in Charity's warmth like a heated blanket embraces you (89). Her lips were softer than I could have imagined and recently I have been indulging in her taste. Heaven is certainly missing an angel. But I'm greedy and don't want to return this Godly gift that landed in my lap.
Her curls danced across my cheek, causing me to break away from our kiss laughing. She lifts her head, ever so slightly, and smiles down at me. "What?" She questioned.
I nodded my head while biting my bottom lip. I didn't want to tell her because then she'd tie her hair back and then I'd be thinking of something that I shouldn't be thinking of.
We have been moving at snail's pace and that is more than okay with me. But if she were to tie her hair back while straddled over my waist, I would think of how soft her lips would feel on my-
We heard loud knocks on the door and both of our heads popped over in that direction. Charity all flew off of me and dashed to the door.
"Wait." I whispered, I stood to my feet and walked towards the door. "You go lay down and I'll answer the door."
"Why?" She whispered back with furrowed brows.
"You are beet red, Chief, they are gonna know something is up." I smirked at her a bit. Her hands immediately flew up to her cheeks and she blushed even harder.
My grin grew as I watched her lay down in the bed and pretend to sleep.
I chuckled to myself while answering the door. "We are both in our rooms." I asked, feigning nonchalance, hoping he was there to do room checks, but he had information as well.
"Just wanted to let you know that all of the SVs are off tomorrow." He smiled at me like he was glad not to have to work on a big Tuesday.
"How come?" I asked.
"After a certain hour has accumulated, all SVs get a break." He reminded me of the terms and conditions I signed earlier in the summer.
"Ah. I remember now." I nodded my head. "What about Charity since she was out?"
"She won't have to start early tomorrow, but yes she will still need to work."
I stopped the urge to frown. "Alright. I'll let her know." I gave him a small smile. "Thanks for the update."
He gave me one of his signature smirks and then left. I closed the door and then looked over at Charity.
I heard a loud groan and knew that Charity heard the contents of the conversation. "Sorry baby." I apologized for how awful that must be.
She sat up and sighed. "I guess it's fair." Charity nodded her head.
"But it sucks." I did understand the feeling. Especially because the SVs would probably plan something fun and she would be left out.
"It's better this way. I'm trying to lay low anyways." She shrugged and then looked at me with a smile. I hated that she was trying to stay away from people because she felt embarrassed by Henry. It literally made my blood boil. "But you, on the other hand, have the entire day off! What are you gonna do with all this freedom?"
I walked over to her and quickly hopped on the bed, hovering over her. She squealed with an excited sound. "Not too worried about tomorrow." I leaned down and kissed her until we were both a bit dizzy. "I'm way more interested in the now."
