After the car incident Sonic decided to stay with his parents for a week. He asked tails to house sit for him and me to just relax. Well I plan on inviting shadow over to burn pictures so sonic being away is perfect. Gives us time to plan our next sneak attack before the end of the following week.

I looked up to the stars as the flame warms my body in the cold late September night. "Hey knux" I turn seeing shadow walk up with a small folder and two cups of hot beverages. "You still like the lavender and honey tea right?" He asked and I nodded taking the cup. "Thanks" I smiled. "No problem.... So you ready to start burning pictures?" He asked as I lit up a cigarette. I put down the tea and picked up one of the many pictures I had of me and Sonic. I placed the cigarette on it and it starts to burn before I tossed it in the fire. Shadow smiled and takes the cigarette from me blowing a puff and puts Sonic's face on a picture he had of him. As we continued to burn each picture I came to my favorite picture of us that was taken after six months of dating. I stared at it for the longest time wondering why he gave up our relationship and gone behind my back. "Knux?" Shadow said. I felt tears forming then crushed the photo in my hand and tossed it into the fire. I stormed off to my house tears just rolling. Shadow followed me after dumping the rest of the pictures we had into the fire. I storm into my room and just cried in my bed. I guess the realization of losing someone I thought actually loved me for two years and to be left alone for someone else really hurt. Sonic knew I was hurt when silver left me even saw past the lie. So the fact he done this was really fucked up. "Knux?" I look at the door and see shadow with worry on his face. "I'm fine Shad..." "No no you aren't" Shadow crawls into my bed and I felt him hugging me. The sound of his heartbeat relaxed me and I just burst out crying more. I found so much comfort in him as he he petted my head......perhaps.... I'm falling for him? I felt shadow lift up my chin and I looked into his ruby eyes. I never realized how stunning they were....wait am I...no no no no I'm not I can't. "I'm sorry knux maybe I'm to blame for your heartbreak.... Maybe I should've also saw it as a sign....." "What are you talking about?" I asked. "Sonic.... Told me he wanted to ask you out two three years ago.... I told him to take the risk even though.... I wanted to ask you...." Shadow looked down blushing and I sat up. "Wait yo—" "Yeah..... I felt a bit happy when he said you 'said no' to him but heartbroken that there was a chance you would reject me as well.... So I had to swallow those feelings for you aside and maybe....move on." He runs the back of his neck and I was just shocked. "So may I ask how you and sonic got together?" I wondered. "Well he called one day asking where I was staying because he was a bit upset so I told him and no surprise he showed up later." "That wouldnt have been in February would it?" "Actually yes how—" "We got into a disagreement and he was really mad at me." I told him. "Well talked and he told me that his brother stole something from him. Now I know that was a lie...... anyway we talked more and the next thing I knew it...... we had sex." He said and I nodded. "We really did get played by the same guy...." I said. "You had it worst then me since you were with him longer and he had intentions of cheating on you this whole time and I guess me as well." Shadow replied. We looked into each others eyes once more. "So ummm do you.... Still like me..... that way?" I asked and he smiled cupping the side of my face. "Yes" he said and kissed me. My heart jump at the shock but soon pounded as I kissed back. His kiss was so soft and loving almost electric. We broke the kiss and had lust in our eyes.
