The feeling in Liberty’s chest was unbearable, how had she been able to that. The guilt felt like it was creeping from her heart slowly infecting her body and mind; eventually she thought it was going to eat her soul alive.
“You know I will never enjoy this.” She said turning to the doll as she walked. The doll shrugged,
“They all say that but you always enjoy it in the end, you will lose your mind if you’re lucky.” The doll spoke quietly and calmly as it stuck the eyeball into its mouth.
“You mean I haven’t lost my mind?” She asked eagerly.
“No Liberty, not yet, not just yet.” The doll answered quietly as it examined the eyeball and put it back in his mouth.
“Since I now work for you, can I please get some answers?” She mumbled facing the darkness afraid for the doll to answer, to explode and to hurt her.
“I suppose so.” The doll shrugged as it licked the eyeball.
“Okay, so you eat the eyeballs?” Liberty asked gesturing the little white ball in the dolls hand.
“Yes, I slowly eat them over a period of time, which is usually a week so every week I will need a new eyeball.” It answered automatically the black beady plastic eyes looking up at Liberty is a creepy sort.
“Why me?” She asked instantly coming up with another question.
“You received me as a gift, and also you are used to morbid things at a young age which is good, thankfully provided by your friend, Allison.” The Doll answered obviously it had planned it all out before.
“Allie?” Liberty questioned tilting her head in confusion. She slowed her pace quite a bit due to lack of sleep and a bit of emotional scaring.
“Your friend, the one whom looks quite similar to the Grudge or Wednesday Addams, she is very nicely morbid.”
“Oh well. I hate this so much.” Liberty cursed at her situation.
“All in time, Liberty, all in time.” The wicked voice cooed and sent out a bursting evil laugh and disappeared, leaving Liberty at her open window.
