"The elevator to a successful relationship is out of order. You'll have to use the stairs...one step at a time."
The bridal shower was taking place as a small family affair only given the photographers, decoration, and food were arranged as per the lavish function. Ridhima was sitting at the center of the stage where her friends were sitting beside her keeping her company and all around her were ladies of Armaan's family.
Anjali did a touch-up of already done makeup for Ridhima, as per the tradition of a Bridal-shower before gifting the make-up kit to her. Nikki was asked to keep the dupatta from one of the dress's over Ridhima's head denoting it as a lap of blessings from everyone (Ashirwad ka aachal). Ananya took a piece of sweet and feed Ridhima with love, blessing her with all the happiness. Soon it was the turn of toys as soon as Ananya put the fresh curated toys basket all thanks to Anjali and Nikki, Ananya looked at Ridhima who smiled brightly noticing the boy and girl toys.
Looking at that Ananya smiled gratefully towards the two girls who took it upon themselves to get it curated in a short span. Soon Ridhima was asked to give all her gifts and blessing to her mom. Indicating that whatever she gets in life first right will be of the mother who was the born god for the child.
"There are girl toys too" Ridhima whispered making Muskaan & Sapna smile knowingly.
"Seems like your words were heard by Maliks even before you utter them," Muskaan whispered to her which Nikki happen to hear given the 1 cm long distance they were sitting at. "Yes, we did" Nikki whispered smiling at them.
"Hi I am Nikki Armaan's best friend and this is Anjali Armaan's favorite cousin" Nikki introduced herself and Anjali to Ridhima and her friends while Muskaan and Sapna did introduce themselves to the two girls in Infront of them.
"I see you noticed the girl and boy toys" Anjali pointed out to Ridhima who smiled only to hear Sapna utter "Yeah actually we were talking about it yesterday about how it's always boy toys that a bride gets, and how unconsciously we still promote baby boy and stuff"
And the girls sit there catching up. While elders get busy with the tilak ceremony for Armaan.
"Bhabhi you need anything. Should I bring anything for you to eat you must be hungry" came Maan's voice interrupting the girls.
"I am good thank you Maan" Ridhima replied politely and asked, " I Hope you have eaten something, you are just running here and there I see."
"Yes Bhabhi I had"

Armaan was sitting on the sofa seat with all the people gather in Infront of him. His parents were standing behind him while Maan his brother was running around asking Ridhima once in a while about her comfort or to know if she needs anything and sometimes attending to the guests.
Padma & Shashank walked up to Armaan with the pooja plate and a few gifts in their hand. They asked him to get up and stand on the stool that they kept before him. So they can do the tilak of his. Smiling he was about to get up when his taiji Saroj spoke up.
"Padma Ji he will sit you can do the tilak."
"But there is this tradition on our side that boys have to stand on this stool," Padma replied politely.
"But for us, it is different I think...." before Saroj can speak up anything further Armaan left his seat and stood up on the Small stool.
"Armaan this is not how our tradition works," Saroj spoke up disappointed at his action.
"Maybe Taiji. But it is like that on Ridhima's side and I guess this is nothing to be arguing about" he tried to be polite as much as he could.
"Nice. Seems like you are already following your to-be-wife side leaving your own"
