It was Monday morning she was getting ready to go to her work when her phone rang. She ignored it first, not wanting to get late for her office. It has been in her record file that she never steps in late for the office, be it any given day or under any circumstances.

But when she saw it from her parent's call. She smiles widely, picking up the call and went to the bean bag kept in the balcony attached to her room.

"Good Morning Mom" she greeted.
"Good Morning Beta. How are you? all ready for the day." her mother asked.
"Yes Mom all ready." she skipped the initial question it's in her habit. she has this argument every time with her mom when she felt like to have one, just to agitate her mother.

Whenever she is asked how are you and she didn't reply she get to hear the same again and again until she chooses to answer or argue about it.

She clearly remembers one day she was talking to the Padma whenever she asked the same question which she tried to dodge by asking another question in return, but all she would hear in reply was how she is which ridhima kept having fun with recording her loopy question and later she answered.

"Mom I am great, what would happen to me. And if something happened then I am sure I won't be picking up the call".

she meant she won't pick up the call in first go as she would be busy dealing with the situation but what can Indian mothers think out of these words. So Padma was no less "Ridhima" came a roar.

"Ridhima" came a call in present. Laughing at her ownself Ridhima gets attentive to the call that she is attending as in today not in someday in past.

"How come you have called in the morning mom." she enquired.

"Beta, we want you to meet someone" she heard her dad.
"Meet who," she asked but then within a minute she shrieks into the phone, jumping from the bean bag she is sprawled on "Dad!! How can you do that? stop matchmaking, for God's sake!"

"Ridhima you are meeting that person for us." she heard her mom trying to blackmail her which ridhima knew her mother had mastered at.

When she didn't say any word ahead her mother and father smiled into the phone knowing that she would be making some babyfaces neither wanting to go meet that person nor being able to deny her parents as she loves them a lot.

So her mother started with the details of the boy they found suitable for ridhima.

After hearing all the details all she spoke up was "5"11!!!" "You are telling me He is 5"11, for God's sake!" in all the details of his all she got was his height to be un-accepted criteria.

Shashank Gupta sighs and shakes his head at his wife, Padma, who wears a face full of pity directed at him.

"Ridhima what is wrong with 5"11? He is taller than you anyway." Padma tried to cajole her daughter.

"Mom, but I am 5"7. What would happen if when I would wear a 3-inch heel? I would look like a giraffe in front of him."

"Then we will make him wear another 2-inch heel." She hears her dad's chuckle and smiles unwillingly.

"We haven't finalized anything, Riddhima. It's just that he is such a sweet and handsome boy. We thought you both will make a good couple. You know we will never proceed without your approval." Padma smiled knowing her daughter had just agreed to meet the boy still not coming out clear.

"I know mom but its uncomfortable to meet a guy on the dinner date set by my parents" she cried.

"What can we do in that when you couldn't find a date for yourself in years." Shashank but in laughing at his daughter while all ridhima did was pout.
