The Dragon Queen

We spend the next two days walking through the woods trying to find where they took Mother dragon. During the second night I keep lookout for the first 4 hours. I sit outside the cave as the dragons sleep when I hear some rustling. I grab the spear and look towards the darkness towards the noise.

"Hello?" I stand up slowly, holding the spear in my hand. I watch as it gets closer towards me "I have a weapon!" I look over and see a boy around my age walking towards me with a towel wrapped around him "sorry." He holds his hand up "didn't mean to scare you."

I look towards the cave and shake my head "well go away then?" He laughs nervously and shrugs "what are you doing here alone in the middle of the woods?" I laugh nervously and shrug "who said I was alone?" I smirk as I hear a low growl "well there is no one else around?" I look towards him and shrug "are you sure?" Blaze walks out the cave locking his eyes onto the boy.

The boy steps back slowly shaking his head "wow!" He looks at me with a worried look on his face "you're the dragon queen?" I raise my eyebrow and hold my hand up towards Blaze "the what?" The boy grabs onto his towel before running away. I take a deep breath and shake my head "great." I look at the cave and nod "grab him and I will wake the others."

I run into the cave Phoenix always wakes up "lets go!" He nudges Anastasia and she wakes up straight away. They run towards me and I jump onto Phoenix's back before speeding off into the air.

I look down towards the woods and point when I spot Blaze "there!" They both dive down and I get off. I run towards Blaze as he pins the boy down with his tail. I laugh nervously and walk towards them "can you get your monster off me?" I scoff and shake my head "monster?! He isnt the one who kidnapped a dragon." The boy shrugs and looks towards Blaze "no but they kidnapped the Princess?" My face drops and I shake my head "they didn't kidnap me!"

The boy's face drops "what?" He looks at me and shake his head "you're the lost princess?" I roll my eyes and tap Phoenix back "I'm not lost am I?" I whistle and Blaze lets him go "now where is mother dragon?" The boy stands up and nods towards a light that brightens through the woods "if they took her then she would be in there."

I hold my hand out and smirk "show us!" He laughs nervously and shakes his head "you expect me to get on that thing?" I shrug and look towards Blaze "or he can carry you in his claw?" Blaze holds his hand out showing his claws "all aboard." He takes my hand and climbs on.
