The Dragon Queen

As we fly away from the castle I look towards it and try listen for any sign of mother dragon. I look towards a the bottom and see a fire start. I tap Anastasia and point towards it "there!" She flies towards it and I jump off as she hands "stay here!" I run towards the door where the fire is and run inside.

I look around and see Mother dragon lying on the floor bleeding. I run towards her and look at her body covered in wounds bleeding out. I grab a blanket from a basket but by the time I reach her again she stops breathing.

I hear a loud bang making me jump, I quickly turn around and see Anastasia knock the wall down. I look at her face and just feel sadness from it as she looks at her dead mother on the ground. She runs towards me and puts her head down "we need to get out of here!" The fire and smoke gets closer every second. She grabs mother dragon with her claws carrying us both out the door and towards the woods.

As we reach the village where Blaze and Phoenix are Anastasia gently puts her mother down. They both run towards her and let out a sad roar. I walk towards her and put the blanket over her face "we should bury her." I look around and point towards a large tree "there." I walk towards it and they all follow.

I point towards a large spot and nod "dig here." I kick the ground with my foot and they all start digging until there is a large enough hole for mother dragon. I look at it and nod slowly "that will do."

They all walk towards their mother and lift her up "you three are so brave!" They gently put her into the hole and I pour some soil that was diged up on her "I'm so sorry mother dragon," I take a deep breath and look towards the direction of the castle "we will avenge your death!"

I look at the other dragons and nod "go." They all cover her with the dirt and I put a flower on top "we should rest." I look towards Blaze who still looks weak "get our strength back." I pat his back and smile "we should be safe for the night."
