The boy holds tightly onto me as he fly through the air "so you do this often?" I nod slowly and pat Phoenix "they just learned to fly." He shrugs and looks at the other two flying at each side of us "and you trust them not to kill you?" I turn around and shake my head "I trust these dragons with my life."

I look at them all and smile "I was there since they was first born and mother dragon took me in for 4 years." I turn back around shaking my head "they are my family when my own family became greedy and put my life and the life of the villagers in danger for their own greed."

His grip becomes a little loose "everyone thinks your dead." I shake my head and scoff "well clearly I'm not." He chuckles and rest his head on my shoulder "I'm glad your not." Phoenix dives down making the boy grip so tightly onto me "be nice Phoenix."

As we get closer to the castle I notice it has got large holes in the side of it and the village is al destroyed. I look towards the boy behind me and shake my head "what happened?" He looks towards the dragons and shrug "King Alexander attacked starting a war for a whole year after you was killed or I guess missing? He felt so guilty about it all and just didn't fix anywhere from that night."

I look around and shake my head "where is King Alexander and his wife?" He points towards the cemetery "King Alexander just stays in his castle all day waiting for another war and I'm not sure about his wife."

I hear a roar from the top of the castle "is that why he took mother dragon? As a weapon towards King Alexander?" The boy looks towards the ground and nods "yeah." I tap Phoenix and point towards the top of the castle where the roar is coming from "well we are only here to get mother dragon." I get off Phoenix back as he hands "in and out."

I walk towards the castle windows "so what is your story?" He laughs nervously and follows closely behind me "my story?" I look at him and nod "yeah?" I look down towards the deserted village "why did you stay?" He looks down and shrug "because this place is all I know and the only place that feels like home?" I look at him and shrug "family?" He rolls his eyes and scoffs "it was their way or no way so better off without them." I open the window and shrug "sometimes it's better that way." He looks towards the village and shrug "I guess it is."
