*Gender Reveal*
Meanwhile at the Murray Residence,
Jamal and Nikola were having a gender reveal at the Murray residence in Kitchener. Lamar hangs out with the couple and the rest of the family members. In fact, they were surprised to see the rest of their loved ones that came all the way from Jamaica and Syria. Roger, Sylvia and Lamar were there for the gathering. Nemanja, Strahinja and Branislav Jokic came over to attend the gender reveal. Jamal was now 7 months pregnant and he is expecting a baby with Nikola Jokic. It was afternoon in Kitchener.
Roger and Sylvia got to know the family of Nikola Jokic as they were bringing the baby registry gifts to Jamal and Nikola. (Apparently, Vlade and Jace may have had a sister on this part or something since I was thinking of putting them together in the chapter but I forgot about it haha. Although, there will be more to come. Anyways back to the story.) "I heard that Jamal is expecting a baby," Branislav went to Jamal's parents. "Yes he is," they said. "Besides, we were thinking whether the baby was going to be a boy or a girl," "I see," He replied. "We'll see what happens next,"
In the meantime,
The rest of the guests including Jamal's two friends Dillon and Cory Joseph attended the gender reveal. Jamal knows that he hold no grudges against them because he, Dillon and Cory Joseph wanted to be better off as friends and yet, they regained their friendship after being romantically involved. Nikola Jokic had a great talk with the two men Dillon and Cory Joseph. Thus, Dillon and Cory Joseph were officially dating and they were expecting a baby as well. Jamal and Nikola congratulated the couple for the great news. They gave him a hug and thanked them for being there and yet, helping Jamal get there without any problems and quarrel.
Cory Joseph: I was hoping the baby was going to be a girl.
Jamal Murray: really?
Cory Joseph: I believe so.
Jamal Murray: only way to find out.
Jamal and Nikola decided to catch up with Jamal's two childhood friends before Lamar goes to the front to pass out some games, raffles and other kid friendly activities. Yet, the families were participating some painting contests and other fun activities. Yet, the rest of the guests were bringing some baby stuff to the house for the couple to take. After the games, Jamal and Nikola brought the balloon that said: Boy or girl? When they were ready to pop the balloon, the guests watched them patiently as Jamal and Nikola were going to countdown from one to three. "One! Two! Three!" The couple popped the balloon and the pink confetti scatters on the grass. They cheered knowing that Jamal and Nikola Jokic are expecting a baby girl.
Cory Joseph: Oh my goodness! Jamal! You're having a girl.
Jamal Murray: I know right?
Cory Joseph: yep.
After the gender reveal, the Murray family thanked everyone for coming. Not only did Roger, Sylvia and Lamar were exciting for the news. Roger and Sylvia were excited that they're going to have a granddaughter. Jamal can hardly wait to have the baby in his arms. Next, Jamal bonds with the fans' children as he could picture what it will be like to have the baby on his own with Nikola Jokic. Nikola was thrilled to watch him play with the kids from the neighborhood.
~ One night ~
They were watching a movie as Jamal and Nikola were both snuggling up in the bed together. "Babe, I can't wait to hold our baby girl," Jamal said smiling. "I know Jamal love, me too," Nikola replied kissing him on the lips and forehead. "And we will grow our family together in many years to come," In fact, Jamal liked the idea because they get to have more children and they are planning to grow their family together. After watching a movie, they fell asleep on the bed. Jamal felt the warmth coming from Nikola Jokic and he felt very comfortable and safe around him.
