What the fuck just happened; I am still in the meeting room with Stella who is still crying. I wish I knew what to do to help her, but I don't... I suck with people who are crying

I barely even know her, when she finally looks up at my face, I can see sadness and terrified written all over like what just happened scared her too and I wouldn't blame her if it had.

Even though she looks like that I need to talk to her for Victoria safety. It sounds like Vic has real problems and doesn't want to acknowledge them along with it becoming a real problem for Stella. I wish I could tell that Vic telling me I would be able to help her take care of some of the load it been on her

"Hey are you okay?" I said softly as I could manage so as not scare her

"Am okay I guess I don't think that could have gone better even if we tried, she has some problems since Brian fuck with her for years" she spoke just as soft as I had if not softer.

"Do you think she mind if you told a bit more of what happened? I am only asking as I'm perplexed here" I said just a bit louder but still quieter than the yelling from before

"I don't think she would mind as she told most of the story herself anyways"

"It's alright share what you feel comfortable with, and I will listen to you as I'm sure it has not been easy on either of you guys" I said

"Well, she said Brian hurt her terrible and landed her the hospital the nurse said they would call her boyfriend as he had made her put him as her emergency contacts for if anything like this happened so he wouldn't end up in jail for abusing to her" she took long breath to calm down

"She needs to get surgery for the injuries, and she would have to be looked after" she took another pause as retelling this story is hard for her. I didn't say anything, just waited for her to continue.

"So, before she could be discharged, she needs to get the person who was gonna look after her to come and fill out some forms, the nurse said she was going to call Brian" she took a deep breath then went on

"Victoria obviously started to freak out and that when the nurse caught on realize that her boyfriend was the one who did all the damage to her. The nurse then called the main nurse's station to make sure Brian was not called" she pauses again and that when I reached other and gave her a tissue.

"The nurse left for a couple of minutes and came back with a therapy doctor and the one who treated her originally; they sat and talked they asked her if they or if she wanted to call the police" she didn't speak for a moment but then she went on.

"Victoria finally let her self-free and she said yes, right then and there the nurse called them. Once they had arrived, they wanted to talk to her alone but the therapist didn't think it was a good idea so he was allowed to stay. Oh they talked for over 2 hours and after that they left and came back an hour later saying she wouldn't have to see him again."

"Wait, so you're saying he got arrested and now is in prison" were the first words I had said over the past 20 minutes.

"Yes, he's in prison thank god and will be there for the next 15 years... and if you're thinking that long time for this type of crime, its because it is" Stella said this time with more strength in her voice the before
