jungkook's pov

I barely complain, not unless i'm starting to feel irritated with something and i can't hold it back anymore. This isn't my first day at work, but the new employees is starting to get on my nerves lately. As if they're already working on the company for a decade. 

"Namjoon hyung, I wanna take a break."Jungkook stated while yawning, as he lay back on his swivel chair inside his office.

"You can Jungkook, there's nothing wrong to rest for a while."

"I mean i wanna take a break not just for a while."

"What do you mean?"Namjoon sat down at the couch, placing the files in the front desk.

"I've save quite enough money, i want to at least start my own business so I could handle my own time."

"That's actually good Jungkook. You're planning to quit?"

"I'll think about it."

"Sure."

Namjoon stand up picking up the files once again, heading towards the door so he could go outside when Jungkook stopped him.

"What's that you're holding?"

"Oh here?" The older hand it to Jungkook.

"Hey, this is a business proposal Namjoon hyung this is actually good."

"You suddenly felt interested? It actually came from one of our business partners in New Zealand. The documents also states that they own a big lot that is presently to be an apartment located in the center of Seoul. And was now undergoing to a massive redevelopment."

"Why you didn't tell me earlier? Let's try to work this out maybe." Jungkook was carefully turning the pages of the files, reading it thoroughly from its details when someone's signature caught his attention.

"You're planning to show up in their house just like that?" Jimin asked sarcastically.

Jungkook sighed deeply, as the cold air brought shivers to his skin at the balcony of his apartment. He's still currently on the process of making Taehyung fall for him once again. But judging from Jimin's reaction, he could say that he's gonna fail big time.

"He doesn't care about you anymore Jungkook, I suggest you might as well start to move on too."

"No, why? I thought you're on my side!"

"I'm siding to either of you. But its clear, actually Taehyung himself made it comprehensible enough to me that's why i'm being honest to you now Jungkook."

Jungkook lower his head down his, feeling like he lost a winning lotto ticket. If only feelings could wait, and change, there's gotta be no problem.

Showing up in front of Taehyung's house with a bouquet of flowers sounds dumb, asking him over dinner sounds plain and boring, inviting him to his house feels like he's very arrogant. Jungkook has only one thing in mind that could probably work to at least approach Taehyung and start a conversation with him.

It is to set an appointment or a meeting for him and Taehyung, to talk about the proposal his uncle would like to get from Jungkook's work place at the moment.

"He's probably back here to Korea for his work stuffs" Jimin stated.

"Exactly, you're right he won't stay here for long." Jungkook opened his laptop in a rush, quickly sending an email to Taehyung.

In 4 days its Taehyung's birthday. Other than his mom and family relatives. Jimin plans to surprise his friend, along side with their college batch mates. Baekhyun, Yoongi, and the other girls who used to be their groupmates all the time. Jin, Namjoon, and Hoseok who happens to be their seniors before were got to be invited.

On the other hand Taehyung's mom set an appointment with Jimin so they could  talk about their plans in general. And for his son to not figure out their surprise. The conversation was simply all about the theme but Jimin suggests that they should make it uncomplicated as possible.

"Eomeoni, Is it okay if i invite Jungkook?" Jimin asks as he sips a cup of his ice americano.

"Isn't Jungkook will obviously be there? Why my dear? Can't he make it?" Taehyung's mom responded looking anxious.

"Aniyoo eomeoni, I just thought Taehyung might felt uncomfortable to his party."

"Why? They're good friends even back then Jimin"

Jimin internally realized that his friend's mom doesn't have an idea about what's going on for the past few years, so he just nodded and flash a smile on his lips.

taehyung's pov

4 days left and I'll be a year older again. I'm slowly starting to accept the fact that i'll be alone for the rest of my life with no one to rely with. How ironic to feel something like this when im still far of turning 50. The heck i always over react lately so annoying. Maybe? I am feeling this way because I get the point that my parents are also getting old. Right, im aware that time will come I should also set a future for myself or might as well find someone for me. I don't wanna be alone, i want to get married, i want someone to take care of me, to love me, compliment me, be there for me all the time and to make my dreams come true with someone who would cherish every single moment with me.

I was casually browsing my instagram account when a message request suddenly popped on my inbox. The person doesn't seem to be following me on my account because I stalked him first before trying to respond. The name of his profile is "abcdefghi__2013" 

'Oh? this guy loves to draw, these are really good..' I scroll and scroll to the unknown guy's feed which is filled with photograph of landscapes, dogs, paintings, tattoos, and some places in Korea when something caught my attention. 

It was the university i used to go to. 'This guy might be one of my batch mates'

:some asks why tae is very forgiving to Jimin when there's a betrayal that happened. honestly, it was way back their college life and taking crushes as a big deal feels like shouldn't be a big deal. its not that i invalidate Taehyung's feelings, it was all simply because jungkook and taehyung were never a thing on their college life. they are just besties concealing emotions with each other : )))
