Yayy we made it to chapter ten

Enid POV
I can't believe that Wens actually agreed to have a sleepover with me but I'm determined to make this the best night of her life. We decided to have it in my room because it would feel more different for her.

"Soo, what do you wanna to first Wens, we can watch a movie, do nails, Oh we should do each other's makeup"

She grimaced but I could tell she wasn't actually that mad,

"Let's start with nails" she looked down at her hands

I honestly can't believe how on board she is with this but I can't fuck it up

"Ok so I'm going to assume you want them black but will you please let me do a design" I begged, I can't let my nail polish skills go to waste

She cringed but nodded before adding, "Wait, your going to paint them"

I laughed, was she seriously this clueless, I used to be scared of Wens but she's kinda wholesome sometimes.
She stared at her nails for a moment as if she was contemplating if she really wanted to go through with us before reluctantly giving me her hands

"Be carful Enid, my hands are my number one weapons, they can't go to waste"

This is what I mean, like how is that not the cutest thing, I gently picked up her hands and got out the black and white polish, I think I'm going to do a checkered pattern, I've seen them on Pinterest and there literally the cutest.

As I grabbed her hands and started to put the starting top coat down I felt her hands start shaking, I looked up at her face and she was red, did I make her blush, no I'm probably just making her uncomfortable

"You ok Wens, you look a bit red and your hands are shaking" I made eye contact as I asked her but she quickly darted her eyes away

"No, you can continue, I'm just not used to this much, uh- touching" she looked away like she was embarrassed, I need to do something to help calm her down and I think I know what.

"I should play music"I exclaimed, she had a horrified look plastered on her face

"Please Enid, do not play your god awful music"

I just laughed and pulled my phone out, I'm in my gay era and I've made some new playlist based on some of the musicians Yoko thought I'd like

"Ok Wednesday, I'm going to give you a choice, we can listen to one of my playlist that has some artist such as , Girl in Red, Phoebe Bridgers, Frankie cosmos, boygenius, ect or we can listen to K pop" she stared at me like I had just asked her to chop one of her fingers off, but eventually chose the first one, I knew she would.

She made a face as the music came on but she didn't turn it off or threatened to kill me so this is a win

As we sat there in silence for a moment a picked her hand back up and started, she nodded and turned her head away from me, so I couldn't see her eyes.

I feel like Wednesday has been weird lately, like she's somehow been more distant but more open at the same time. It's so strange like, she held my hand at the shop and she's letting me do her nails, but also she avoids making eye contact with me always seems like she has something on her mind that she's not telling me.

I painted her nails and I could feel her getting more comfortable, a crazy thought popped in my head. I noticed how her face seemed to be tinted red, what if Wednesday Addams liked me back, I shook away the thought but couldn't get it out of my head

As I finished and put the mat coat down on top I watched as she stared in awe before putting her hand into a fist and covering her mouth,

"I must say Enid, I had my doubts but this isn't awful"
She stared at the nails before turning and asking what to do next, I told her to paint my nails now and she inched back a bit but then nodded and asked for colors, of course I chose rainbow

She cringed as she grabbed the red and grabbed my hand, I just kinda sat there and took it in, she was touching me, I know that sounds creepy but it's not what I mean, I mean that Wednesday is willingly holding my hand painting my nails. I felt a dorky smile spread across my face

Wednesday kinda blushed and looked at me, "stop it with that stupid smile Enid, I'm just doing that because you asked" she looked at me before turning back down to finish my nails.

As she finished I looked down surprised, I didn't expect her to have such skills but I must say I was shocked,

"Ok Wens, lets pick a movie and do each other's makeup"

"Please don't, I'll watch a movie but no makeup, for now at least"

I laughed and we started discussing movies, I wanted to watch Barbie but she was very opposed to it. We finally settled on the first Scream movie, was not looking forward to it but I needed Wednesday to be happy.

We laid on my bed and I got my computer out to to turn the movie on

I watched as Wednesday stared at the screen with a look of amusement, mesmerized my the blood. I on the other hand was horrified, there was no way I'm going to sleep after this

As the jump screens turned up on there screen I would jump and grab Wednesdays shoulder, she just moved out of the way. As she stared at the screen I could see life in her eyes, I don't know how to explain it but I think I'm really falling for Wednesday

As the movie ended she turned to me and looked like she wanted to asked me something then stopped and got off the bed, before she could leave I grabbed her arm

"Wait, we need to do makeup"

"No Enid, I need my beauty sleep"

I laughed and looked at her, giving her puppy eyes, I knew she couldn't resist them and just like I predicted she agreed
