Enid's POV:

I shifted over in bed as the clock stuck 12, Wednesday still wasn't back and it was making me nervous. I texted her a few times but no response and I don't know what happened, I may be getting ahead of myself by being nervous but Wednesday doesn't seem like the type to stay out all night unless she's up to one of her usual sceme.

I'm scared that I annoyed her or stressed her out by asking her about Xavier, I can't help feeling jealous but I can't let that get in the way of us. I sat up in bed and texted Yoko, her dorms was a few doors down from Xavier's so I was wondering is she knew if he was back

I sent her a text and she quickly replied,

Yoko- Wdym Xavier got back like 3 hours ago

At this point my anxious thoughts shifted into legitimate fear for is she was ok. I have no doubts that she can handle herself but it's odd for her to not come back with Xavier, I tried to call her but it went straight to voicemail

I jumped out of bed, grabbed a outfit and a bag, and ran to the bathroom. I brushed my hair out with my nails and splashed cold water on be face while I applied a lip gloss and concealer. I quickly got changed and packed a tote bag with way more stuff then I needed. Before I left I sent Yoko a text saying I was going out, if I got into trouble I need someone to know where I am
***

I grabbed a bike from the gym and rode it out into town, sweat dripped down my forehead as I arrived. I can't think of where she would be, there's no way I'm going into the forest at night but what if some sort of hyde like monster took her. I wandered around town till I found myself in the cafe, a Lofi record was playing and I saw the worker once more, she had been stuck in my brain I need to get her name, mabye she knew about Wednesday

I walked over to her and she waved

"Hi Enid, how can I help you"

"How do you know my name"

She laughed and explained that she heard Wednesday talking bout me when she came with a "dark haired girl with circle sun glasses," Yoko. I nodded past that, it's a box for another time

I couldn't think of what so say, "uh ok, this may sound strange but can I get your name"

She studdered and looked around a second before answered "oh uh, Go- Grace, um Grace" she smiled and nodded

"Have you seen Wednesday, she's like 5 feet, braids, aggressively emo"

Grace nodded and pointed out the window, "I saw her run to the graveyard"

I swiftly turned my head and stormed out of the cafe, thanking the worker

As I ran toward the graveyard I spotted a a black dot in the off side of the yard

I saw her curled up and I ran over to her, she was in fetal position and seemed to be asleep, I felt a breeze stiffle through the air, I can't just leave her here, but I don't  want to pressure her to come home with me

I took my sweater off and wrapped it around her, before laying down next to her and wrapping my arm around her body, making sure she was comfortable.

The grass scrapped a cause my stomach and I felt chills in my spine, regardless I stayed, I wouldn't let her stay here alone

No one's POV:
Wednesday slowly awoke in the grave yard and she felt someone's arm wrapped around her, she froze 'was it Xavier'

She slowly turned to see Enid curled up in a ball next to her, how did she find her, why is she here

Wednesday slowing slipped out of her grasp and sat up, her stomach churned and she remembered the events of last night, little scared her, but that did

Enid shifted and sat up, her hair was a mess and her makeup was half worn off, she turned to Wednesday and examined her expression

"I can explain" she said before Wednesday could ask anything, and before she could answer she continued

"I noticed that you weren't home and Yoko said Xavier had gotten back and I was worried-"

Wednesday put her finger to Enid's lips and cut her off, Enid blushed and moved back, Wednesday just looked down and nodded

"Are you going to tell me what happened" Enid stated at her

Wednesday avoided eye contact and shakes her head, Enid just looked at her with sad eyes but she understood

Enid helped brush the dust on of Wednesday and they headed to the cafe for breakfast
