"Epilogue: How I Met My Soulmate/Became A Hero"

You may think that this is the end of my story, but it's only the beginning.

Over the rest of the year, I continued on helping and teaching Hayato his ninja training; but I also hung out with him and his friends occasionally.

But one friend that's sort of caught my attention lately was Hayato's friend Alejandra; it turns out that Hayato was secretly telling her about my Instagram account and that she commented on a couple of my photos, but I thought it was just another creep. Then I started noticing that she was basically acting like I was when I was crushing on Sae; but this time, it was me who was being crushed on. Unfortunately, I couldn't talk to Alejandra and inquire about her feelings toward me, because she was always very nervous around me; but I knew that it was because she liked me. And to me, it was very flattering and sweet that for the first time in my new life as a lesbian, a woman found me sexually attractive.

But one day, things would change, and this event would cause me to become closer to Alejandra and one step closer to realizing she was my true love.

It was May 12th, 2016, now jobless and with nothing to do anymore, I basically became your regular slacker; but that doesn't mean I don't help make sure Hayato wakes up on time.

I was sitting in the kitchen eating breakfast when I heard the school bus pull up and looked at the kitchen clock that read, "7:30 AM"; so I got up, went upstairs, opened Hayato's door, and shouted, "Hayato!" but he didn't hear me and I shouted again, "Hey! Get the fuck up!"

Hayato then jolted awake and groggily asked, "Wha-? What is it?" and I answered, "Are you done with your wet dream? Then get your ass up and get ready! The bus is leaving!"

I then looked over and noticed that Hayato was pitching a very large tent under his blanket which always disgusted me every time I went into his room, and I shouted, "OH MY GOD! And take that tent down why you're at it! Why do you always have that every single time?"

Hayato looked at me confused as he got up and asked, "What the fuck are you talking about?" until he looked down and saw his morning wood and said, "Aw shit."

I then left the room and went back downstairs to turn on the TV while I heard Hayato frantically run out the front door, not knowing what he would do at school on that day.

Later that afternoon, I got a strange call from an unknown caller, but I answered it cautiously and said, "Hello?" and I heard a woman's voice that I didn't recognize at first; She asked, "Uhm...is this Kohane Ito?" and I answered, "Yes, but who's this and how'd you get my number?"

The Woman then sighed in a guiltful tone and told me, "I'm Hayato's friend Alejandra Martinez, I took your number from his phone, and I just wanted to let you know that Hayato had a little incident at school."

I then got concerned and asked, "What happened?" Alejandra answered, "So there's this girl that Hayato's liked for years, her name is Maja and earlier this morning, Hayato confessed his love for her, but she ran away embarrassed. Later that day at lunchtime, her friend Connor shows up and he's a huge bully. So Connor's asking if Hayato did anything to Maja, but he denied it and Connor just kept on pressing him until Hayato flicked his finger and flung Connor across the cafeteria."

I was then confused and asked, "Wait, you're telling me this all JUST happened?" and Alejandra answered, "Yes! And now I think he's scared because he took us out of school and now, we're on our way to Little Tokyo."

I then said, "Ok, Me and His Mother will talk to him when he gets home." and Alejandra hung up.

I then got up out of the couch before I saw Mom come in through the front door and said, "Hey, Mom. You got a minute?" and she replied, "Sure, what do you need?"
