Essence instincts kicked in, and she ran away with every ounce of energy she had. Felicia was following along, trying to keep up.
Her heart raced as she ran down the road. She crossed over, looking out for cars, and made her way down a dark road.
Essence ran past a closed mechanic shop and headed for an alleyway. She didn't look back to see if Felicia was following. She saw a black Mercedes ride slowly, and she ducked behind a dumpster.
Please let me get out of this.
Peeking around, the car was gone, and she ran the opposite way.
The moon lit her path ahead while she ran toward acres of grass. To the right was a ditch with a big opening of a pipe. She ran down and hid inside.
Oh shit, where's Felicia?
"Essence..."
She heard a whisper, but before she could answer, car tires screeched to a stop.
"Aaaah!"
"Don't move."
"I didn't do anything. Please, I swear."
Essence listened to her best friend plead for her freedom. The man's voice was deep and calm.
"Where is Essence?"
"I-I don't know...I lost her."
The man's voice was quiet as she heard Felicia whimper. She could hear a car door close shut, then gravel moving, and she slowly went deeper into the pipe.
"Essence, be a good girl and come out of the pipe."
Her heart dropped. She was frozen in place and wondered how he knew she was there.
She heard the cocking of a gun.
"No, please!" Felicia cried out.
"Okay! Okay!"
Essence crawled out from the pipe with her hands up. She saw the man standing on the road. He gave her a soft smile.
"Hello, I'm Amin."
Essence ran to Felicia and hugged her. Her friend was a wreck, barely able to stand still from shaking in fear.
"Both of you get in the car."
Amin's eyes gave off a reflective light.
"Now..."
Essence gasps while Felicia holds onto her, trying to keep balance.
As his eyes went back to normal, he opened the door to the backseat, and they both got inside.
I got her.

My heart was beating so fast. Amin didn't take us back to the club, but down the road, I saw police cars and an ambulance. In the midst of the chaos was the familiar white Maxima.
It was jacked up on the curb with the front smash into a park car. There was smoke coming from it, but I couldn't see anyone inside.
Felicia squeezed my hand, then out of nowhere, she opened her side of the door and jumped out. She rolled on the hard ground, then slowly got up.
The door shut by itself, and Amin did not stop the car or look back. I was freaked out but looked out the back window. In the distance, I saw Felicia collapse to the ground.
"She's hurt! Please, I need to help my friend!"
He said no words as he continued to drive away. I didn't understand why I was being taken. They knew who stole from them, so why involve me.
We drove down a dark road for what seemed like hours. One unexpected turn to the right took us down a backwoods trail.
My body didn't relax for the whole ride. I had no clue where I was at and wouldn't know where to run if I got a chance to escape.
Amin stopped in front of a huge tree. It was massive in width, and my mind went every direction, trying to understand why we were here.
He rolled his window down. "¿Estás aquí?" (Are you here?)
Another man came out of the darkness as Amin got out of the car.
They shook hands, then smiled while they talked in another language. They both looked at me, and I couldn't hold back my tears.
The other man opened the back door. He gave a soft smile.
"Hi Essence, I'm Bellamy."
He held out his hand, and my shaking hand took his. The moon seemed to shine solely where we were near the tree.
I stood next to the car, then looked up at the moon.
Bellamy grabbed one hand while Amin took the other. Both took my index fingers and bit...I yelped as they tasted my blood.
"Aah!"
They let my hands go with their eyes closed. When they opened them, I backed up against the car.
"Es como una droga." (It's like a drug)
Their eyes looked inhuman, and I began to cry again.
"I'm sorry my friend took your stuff, but I had nothing to do with that. I swear on my son's life."
Amin looked at Bellamy. "Ella ya se apareo." (She already mated)
"Está bien."
They both stood in front of me. Their height towered mine, and I felt a cool breeze swirl by.
"Ellos la buscaran." (They will look for her.)
"We apologize for scaring you, Essence. We need to do one thing before we let you go."
Bellamy's voice was deep like Amin's. They both had soft accents, long hair, and flawless caramel color skin.
I noticed that even with a shirt on, you can see Amin's tattoos on his chest, neck, and arms.
Now, both their teeth look sharp like spikes. Bellamy pulled me away from the car. The moon's comforting glare was directly on me.
Suddenly, I couldn't move my body. A force I couldn't see held me in place.
"Wh-What's happening?!"
Bellamy's finger touched my lips. "Shh...."
Amin lowered the top of my dress, exposing my cleavage. He sniffed my neck and groaned as he inhaled.
"First?"
"No, same time."
"Wh-What are you two?"
Bellamy smiled. "You'll find out very soon."
Like a flash, they both sunk their teeth into each of my breasts. Amin on the right, Bellamy on the left.
The sudden attack snatched my voice away. The pain was a few seconds until the pleasure took over.
My legs weaken, my breasts vibrated, and my nipples harden. They released their teeth and stared into my eyes. My blood covered their mouths while my vision blurred.
"We finally found you."
Those were the last words I heard before I felt light-headed, and everything went black.
