Dinner

I was a little glad margarret came to my house, gave me a chance to get at her more.
"Do you mind?" She huffed annoyed that I was sitting next to her
"I do actually" I said lightly smiling
My mom came in with a bowl of pasta.
Looks great mom. It really did, my moms cooking is the best.
"Thanks honey" she beamed
My mom and John my step dad went all out for this dinner.
We had steak, and mashed potatoes too.
While we were eating, I decided to make my move.
"Mrs. Anderson I'm very fond of your daughter" I said
She smiled and so did my mom.
This was the first time I've ever said those words to a girls parent or In front of my mom or John. Margarrett slowed her chewing, trying to figure what i was on to.
"Oh really?" Mrs. Anderson said with an eyebrow up and looked at her daughter and smiled
Margarrett shook her head
"Yes, we've been talking at school and I would like to know if I have permission to take her to and from school." I said
"Oh, wow Alex that's so thoughtful, of course you can."
At this moment my mom and John were looking at each other, surprised but impressed. They didn't say anything though.
"Margarrett, you never told me you were talking to Alex"
"Hmm, I guess I forgot" she fake smiled
My mom, John and Margarret's mom had small talk, while I tried talking to Margarrett.
" looks like your mom likes me" I smirked
"Only 'cuz she doesn't know what a big jerk you are" she said between her teeth with anger
"You don't even know me babby girl."
"One, don't call me that. And two, I know enough. I'd rather walk home than ride with you"
"That's an option, but I wouldn't do that to a precious girl like you." I lightly grabbed her hand from her lap, and she quickly pulled out the grip.
Right then my mom asked Margarrett a question.
"So, Margarrett tell me about yourself" she beamed at her
" oh, well I'm a Junior at Jefferson,and I'm 16 will be 17 in a month withI have a 4.5 GPA and I want to be a lawyer.
"Wow, impressive" John my step dad said
"Yeah, Alex also has a 4.0 and wants to be a Computer Engineer"

What the hell? Why would she tell her that?. I made a face at her, telling her to stop, She saw and lightly laughed.
"Oh wow" Margarrett chuckled
"That's amazing, Alex and Margarrett would be great influences on each other" mrs. Anderson said smiling
I smiled. Margarrett looked slightly annoyed but quickly changed her face expression.
"Uhm, Excuse me, where's the bathroom?" She asked my mom
"Down the hall to the right"
"Thank you"
She must have texted her mom that she wanted to leave because her mom looked down at her phone, and a few seconds later Margarrett came back, and her mom started rapping things up.
"The food was amazing thank you for having us" mrs. Anderson said "Thank
You for coming, it was our pleasure"
I saw Margarrett and Lauren laughing together about something. They hugged, Then she got up and said her goodbye's to my parents too.
"Thanks for coming mrs. Anderson, I'm hoping to see you again" I said hugging her
"Oh, your welcome anytime, " she smiled hugging me
"Then she invites him to our house, great" Margarrett lowly mumbled but I seemed to be the only one that heard, and I chuckled
"You guys are also welcome anytime" my mom said smiling at Margarrett which she returned
As Margarrett walked out I whispered "see you soon babby girl"
"Shut up" she said rolling her eyes
Looks like my plan worked out great.
I helped clean up and went to lay on my bed.
I smiled at myself, tonight was great, I got her right were I want her.

Wow! What a night huh? 😉 I wrote more since my chapters are kinda short, I'll try to write more! 😁 soo, Alex is gunna be at margarretts house ? Wow. I wonder what tricks either one will pull. 😝. Keep reading .
